Another big night in Europe for Rangers.
Another hard night as well but we've excelled at Ibrox in the competition so far this year. Leipzig s played in a crucial league game on Monday night, they are chasing 4th in the Bundesliga and an automatic CLG place, but lost 3-1 away to 10th placed Borussia Munchengladbach. That score line would suit us and at 25/1 its worth a small wager. Will post the starting eleven at 7.00pm when it is announced. Touch and go whether Roofe will be fit to play. |

I think Ill back rangers to qualify and over 90 minutes and hope their oassionate crowd guves them the inspiration

They've looked a bit jaded recently but Leipzig have much better players, are almost full strength and have top level experience

They've also been better away from home in the EL winning in both Bergamo and Sociedad after home draws

On the booze already. The Gers are no 5/2 chance imo. More like a 6/4 chance. That aside it's about qualification and if the Germans score one we need three. A tough task but we have a good squad or what's left of it.
I'd take 1-0 or 2-1 now to grab extra time. We have to concentrate. If having a bet I would lay the Germans at 11/10 giving one two bites of the cherry but too much at stake for me to have a bet. If we do get through that will be five European finals we have been in. Celtic have been in three. As a wee back up we have a fanatical support behind us. Come on lads! |
