Crystal Palace vs Arsenal sky tonight

Would be worried that the build up to the match is more exciting than the actual game, Arsenal have certainly come on a bundle since we played them at their place and will be keen to take the three points, our approach is difficult to pinpoint, will the players want to look after themselves with the FA semi not far off or will they want to cement their places by putting in a performance?
A draw would not be a disaster for either team so it may well come down to which manager is the better motivator this evening,I am obviously biased but betting wise will be happy to sit this one out irrespective of what the team news is come 7pm.

I'm the same as you C.L. I'm not going to have a punt either as it's a very tricky game to predict. I'm favouring under 2.5 goals in what could well be a cagey encounter if I was going to do anything but not @ 1.82 which it is currently.

I'm taking Mrs.Blue's son who is 15 today as his present but,and I can scarcely say it,......he's a Gooner!

Should be a great occasion whatever happens as Selhurst is really rocking at the moment.

I've suffered that same fate Slippy. No sons myself but my nephew decided that he was going to support Arsenal. He grew up playing football with Kane (classmates) but with Arsenal being the dominant of the two at that time, he went with them. Unfortunately my brother was no help as he isn't interested in football at all.

I thought Zaha was out, especially as he sat out match against England. Managed to lay Arsenal @ 1.94 and they have drifted a bit with the Zaha playing news.

Will be interesting to see how Arsenal respond to Spurs putting a bit of pressure on 4th place.

Arse are not renowned for their intestinal fortitude so perhaps they'll begin to buckle under the pressure. Here's hoping anyway.

I've joined in with the over 2 1/2 goal market purely for an i interest but couldn't give you a reason as to why it should be a game  with goals, or without for that matter, just can take the thought of watching  some dire tv show my wife has onatm

I wouldn't be pessimistic about Spurs chances in the CL if they qualify, Emitdeb.

I don't mean they'd be contenders. I mean they can be competitive like the last few times they were in in.

I'd be pessimistic about Arsenal in the CL. They are EL KO level. That's their highest level and they were there in Wenger's last year and under Emery but they've apparently improved under Arteta despite him not even getting into that comp.

This is a damaging defeat for their morale.

The gd is a huge positive for Spurs now as well

Amazing how their even in contention. More to do with Spurs Leicester and Man U being v poor. But Arsenal seem to catch a lot of teams at a good time.

Xavi has 'finished' Auba playing as a box 9, just tells him to make runs across the goal between the posts.

Arteta knows better tho. Keeps Laca and Nketiah for an important run-in when both are out of contract in a couple of months and couldn't hit a cow's arsé with a banjo

Well that all went rather well and no fluke about that result, Palace played brilliantly all throughout the game.
Selhurst rocking once again.

A bit of kudos goes to the Arsenal supporters who were still singing at the death with not much to cheer about in the match.

Very good dominate performance by Palace. Vieira got the tactics spot on exposing Arsenal's shaky full backs, he looks to have a bright future. Arsenal all as sea and once again Arteta gives no confidence he knows what to do when things need to change. Partey was dreadful all match and should have been subbed a half time.

Arsenal need to bounce back against Brighton.

A comprehensive confident display, nothing like I was expecting, thought we would be nervous and too defensive, refreshing that we played to our strengths rather than trying to combat theirs, excellent season so far, here is hoping they are able to carry on in that vein till the end of the season and do not retreat as they have done each other season once safety was assured.

It was a very accomplished performance C.L. I didn't expect the game to turn out the way it did at all. One thing has puzzled me a bit is that on the B.BC. website they have got the possession as 69% - 31% in favour of Arsenal which is not how it seemed last night, to me anyway.

Again Conor Gallagher our m.o.m. that bloke has got some engine. Here, there & everywhere all game. He'll be a huge loss when we face Chelsea on Easter Sunday most definitely.

what a talent young conor gallagher is, he reminds me of roy keane.

has a chelsea fan i followed him when loaned out at swansea and west brom and always looked like making a top player and as gone to another level with palace.

be madness but i would be gutted if chelsea sold him, must be young player of the year.

C.G. won't stay at Palace, he's a 100% Chelsea man unfortunately but his season for us has been quite magnificent I have to say.
