The problem the vast majority of the players are not footballers, they are athletes, also tend to be physically imposing,so difficult to have free flowing football.
A good title for the thread. |

They'll be dancing in the streets of Ouagadougou.

And the streets of Yaoundé

Lots of money taken during the VAR and it's still on the graphs. Wonder who got it for it not to be cancelled as usual protocol...
|
By:
Overs in by half time in first match ,maybe this time will be different ,certainly good prices for overs backers .
|
By:
VAR going on for minutes in the Ethiopia game red card all day
|
By:
Gone

Scored from the free kick whilst the ref was still looking at the screen ffs

|
By:
Disappointed with the lack of diversity.
|
By:

By:
a dreadful competition, one that use to pay to side with under in goals and corners, plus overs in cards and betting on a red.
|
By:
reminds me of a sketch in irish tv show "the savage eye" reading out the nortehrn irish football results in an over the top ulster accent and literally every game is 0-0

When do we see a goal in the Senegal game?
|
By:
they are hard to come by ,2 out of the 4 goals so far have been penalties .
|
By:
Its utter sh!te can see why no one watches it
|
By:
This is why no one watches it Ian Wright
Its worse than watching grass grow |
By:
its more of an African hair dressers convention than football competition. lots of outrageous colours and styles on display but very little footballing skills. It gets no coverage because its utter dross but if you say so, you'll be demonised by he likes of Wright.
|
By:
Exactly cool
Its boring very little attacking at all |
By:
The team that started of 1.27 havent looked like threatening at all
|
By:
Watching it its hard to see where the goal is coming from in most of them unless its a set piece
|
By:
Under looks good again, as does the 0-0 (unless Ref gives a pen). terrible football but a decent betting event
|
By:
One of the most boring matches you will ever witness. Hopefully Ian Wright enjoyed it though

Penalty
![]() Market well and truly snipered. |

Senegal last price matched 2.92

By:
Missed?
|
By:
Scored. Emphatically.
|
By:
Under 0.5 went 1.02 to 2.02
![]() |
By:
Its the only your seeing goals in them though
|
By:
Officials looked desperate to find a penalty moments earlier. Ref couldn't blow quick enough there. Someone snipered huge free money too.
|
By:
Probably a fix up then late on
See it a lot over there and esp Israel although you do see them missed “emphatically” as well, 0-0 with 10 to go you always get a feeling a penalty is coming in that part of the world |
By:
Yeah. I was half expecting it. Someone with real time pictures scooped the lot it seems!
|
By:
They dont hide the set ups in that part of the world
Why bother when they get away with it however they like |
