I'd have thought Howe would be a risky appointment given Newcastle's squad and position. But I suppose you wouldn't say Newcastle's squad is worse than Bournemouth's and with some spending in January he should be OK. The amount of goals his Bournemouth side leaked would be a worry, often conceded more than relegated teams. But on the upside he'll have a lot more to spend than he did previously - interesting to see how well he does with a decent budget behind him.
