There is no evidence of anyone putting their name forward for the job ,just managers distancing them selves from it .The Belgium manager seems to be the next name doing the rounds .god help us if he,s the level they are after .

Well time will tell when the appointment is made ,But Bruce should have been in charge until then .Getting rid of him before the new manager decision has not raised the team spirits and the longer they take the worse it will get ,The next set of games are all winable but the team needs a new man in charge very soon .

Be patient and enjoy the ride. After 14 years of mismanagement we are going to build something special. Even if we go down its only one season and the club will be on firm foundations to shoot for the stars. Exciting times ahead regardless of what happens this season.

Getting relegated is not an option for the richest team in the world ,we would become a laughing stock .

Don't have a massive view of who should/will get the job but I'm all green on all shots so please just choose your man then I can drawGrin then again only 2 months to go if they don't pick one!

Odd that "fans" are missing Bruce.

Not met a single fan who wanted
him kept on.

Surveys produced a 95%-5% desire
to see him gone, with the pesky
mackems making up most of the
5%.

Fonseca linked with spurs job...

Having failed to meet his terms
last time, they may be having 2nd
thoughts...?

And the manager to get them rebuilt is still out there and see what the addition of a quality striker has done for his side.  Put aside the snobbery Spurs fans and bring him in.  Sean Dyche.  Mind you, the question is - will he come?

Can the board just go and get Jose. He is wasted at Roma and Spurs and Utd have shown what basket case clubs they now are.

At the Toon, he can coach the defence and build from scratch. Something that suits him down to the ground.

John Terry is being lined up for the Villa job.

If he works on his six-pack he'll definitely get into Love Island.

Emery now 6/4 fav

Has won 2 in 11 this season. Can't see what is so enticing about him

Favre imho is the best and most common sense selection

Delighted to see toon fans turn against rumour of Martinez

Emery around evs.

Rumour has negotiations in play
with £6 million compo, if terms
agreed with emery.

Failing that, Howe is back up
candidate...

Hope to have new manager for
Brighton game.

Why Unai?

No great shakes at Arsenal
Poor start to the season at the yellow submarines

Howe potentially much better long term appointment even if they are relegated

Wouldn't be too confident about Emery doing well, but they were unlikely to get Conte level first time.

Imagine they get relegated and then spend £300M in the summer. What price would they be for Championship?

be very interested in who gets the DOF job. in many ways much more important in the long term than the manager

How does 'building from scratch' suit Mourinho? He expects to have almost everything in place drones day one. Better for all concerned that he won't be going there. Three months of his moaning and blame shifting and the Saudis would be reaching for the bone saws.

Dof is overrated IMO. It works at City because Pep chose the DoF.
