The amount of talent at the disposal of Martinez in his current ro;e and the lack of bothering the judge is a concern. His Premiership experience or lack of is more concerning,

Keegan though.... really ? Give ya heed a shake.

only on temp basis. what i like is fans will give him time and it would have place buzzing and only till end of season with royal wave off if he keeps them up and ambassadorial role.

he's a better option that the usual merry go round of english/foreign mercenaries until they get a better list of candidates in the summer

Not seen nor heard of Keegan in 13 years since he left Newcastle 2nd time.

In February 2009, Keegan had three points added to his driving licence after being caught doing 36 mph in a 30 mph zone on the A69 road in August 2008. This brought his total to 12 points and he consequently received a six-month driving ban

We could use them 12 points!

Leo Jardim now the talk i've heard. would be terrible appointment.

Lucien would be solid appointment

Jardim was always a credible candidate for this, but I see Betfair only just added him at the bottom of the list.

The way that Tottenham market was run puts me off getting involved

The odds are mad. Bookies/Journos/Insiders are not getting a sniff and based on Jones comments, expect a new man in charge within the next week

Really think going down the German route with DOF and manager is the way to go. Erik Ten Haag and Overmars just don't seem realistic

Favre and Ragnick would be solid duo

Yeah interesting market with nobody having a scooby-do. The 1.5 Fonseca backers should be scratching their heads. Still think it'll be one of those 2 though - Favre or Fonseca.

Chelsea spank them and expect some traction early next week. This patient approach won't last if they are 5/6 points off safety on Mon morning.

Expect movement anyway.

The stated plan was always to interview a few

But it would appear fonseca was
first in, favre second, and maybe
more talked to.

Hence the rush to back as they
were spoken to.

John Terry ramped today. Has he
had contact?

Jones seems fairly certain he will
be assisting manager, so either
they've all agreed, or he knows
who new man is.

Take care...

A lot of managers would turn it down if they are being told who their coaches are.

I think the fans might want Kermit as manager. I heard a group of them singing Frog on the Tyne. Plain

Got wrong for singing frog on the Tyne to ginola

Got wrong for wearing tea towels v Tottenham.

Interesting to see how many fake

With that dismal display (20% possession), Burnley winning etc, cue a decision very soon next week. Won't be so much eery silence from here on out.

It's like when you're sat on the toilet, ready for a big'un, and only some hot silent air comes out of your fat a*se. Similar to that.

After the last two performances Bruce must be pissin himself laughing ,A complete car crash team not up for it ,God help whoever is desperate enough to take the job .
By:

Why would Bruce be pissin himself
it's his team, managed by the coach he hired.

He'll be enjoying the monets in Dubai.

He claims to be a boyhood Newcastle fan
that loves the club, lol.

Bruce was villified by the majority of toon fans getting constant abuse .Imagine going to work every day and being treat like that .But since he has left the performances have gone backwards .I do believe that a lot of the players backed Bruce and are not happy with the situation ,so the next manager no matter how much money he gets has a massive job on his hands hence no one screaming out for the job .
By:

When: 31 Oct 21 14:34
performances have gone backwards ? Draw away at Crystal Palace and beaten at home by European Champions  Laugh Bruce had 7 wins in his last 35 games in charge FFS

When: 31 Oct 21 14:41
Palace hammered us but could not finish ,a brilliant goal gets a draw ,Chelsea murdered us ,as the joke went the only time Newcastle were not in there own box is when Chelsea took the penalty .If you think thats a step forward you must be in dream land .
By:
DOUBLED
When: 31 Oct 21 14:50
So Palace hammered us 1-1 and Chelsea took 65 mins to get in front. I did not say it was "a step forward" merely responded to you saying we had gone backwards. And there will be plenty "screaming out for the job" its just being done properly for the first time in 14 years !!
