They are a level below the other 3 IMO.

And have had much softer fixtures so far.

Well, I believe 14.0 backers have two bites of the cherry:

a) Ole rallies the side and they muster a credible challenge from a level playing field (top four within 1 point of one another).

b) Ole could be out by next week, depending on the Villareal result, in which case the incoming manager inherits the best available player in the world. Whose best chance of picking up another domestic honour is this season.

They bought a title with Van Persie. If they are going to do it again with Ronaldo, I suggest it has to be this season.

Chelsea have already played 4 of their 10 'big six' matches, three of them away. United haven't played any.

Everton had a soft start too and are level with United on 13pts.

Title pace would surely be 16 from those games.

I can't see Ole being sacked until they fail to qualify from the group. That may well happen, but it will be in November and likely 10+ points back in the league by then.

They need to roll a lot of 6s
to win league.

Maybe. But it's Liverpool v Man City next week. If United are not keeping up in the League going into December, there will be a management overhaul. I'm not saying they should be favourites - it all depends how the top four perform against one another.

They have a chance of beating anybody
on the day as they have lots of
goals in them.

But they are second favs in
most head to heads v big 3

14 is too big if you think there is an imminent managerial change and they get the right guy in. There isn't and don't think the right guy is available

Conte would take it wouldn't he, not sure it would work out well.

I think if they stay with Ollie then they could win the Europa league

Speaking as a neutral who knows absolutely zilch:
I think that any manager who has a squad that utd. have and is unable to compete against villa at home has got to be in serious brown stuff.
Has he lost the dressing room or what?

No wind up. I have backed United @ 14 and 14.5

How can they be shorter for the CL than for the domestic title? That's out of proportion.

I'm hoping that Villareal beat them on Weds.. It would help the title cause if United slipped out of the CL. They are clearly not equipped to do that.

ub, even utd  are capable of pulling  one off occasionally, like the cl.
But the premier league is week in week out and maybe they're just not up to that. Or not willing.

Yeah, if they're adrift at the end of November, the big players will be conserving their energies for other targets. I'm just taking a punt that they hang on in there.

Potentially the turning point for Ole and the gang today. Crikey, I just type that and Man City equalise.
