If they lose, City will be 6 points behind Chelsea, and probably Liverpool and Man Utd too. You cannot win a race at the start but you can surely lose it there.

Only really Chelsea actually matter from those teams. Liverpool and Utd have had much easier fixtures and will be no threat, Liverpool cos they lose Salah and Mane for ages in Jan, and Utd not good enough with Ole at the wheel.

The Dragon of course Chelsea have yet to meet a top top side this season but City lost to Spuds and were held at home by Southampton.

If you'd watched these two sides games this season one thing would stand out, Chelsea's power. Of course City will try to play keep ball but if Chelsea have the energy City will struggle

Tuchel had never beaten Pep until Chelsea. Got 3 single goal wins against him last season. The 2 domestic games involved weakened sides, both were 3-4 days after big CL KO games but Tuchel seems well able tactically for Pep. You'd have to say Chelsea look stronger and City weaker since then.

Chelsea are at home though so the market rates City as the superior team (if Chelsea were approx. 2.30 then they'd be considered "equals" with Chelsea.  That's odd when you consider that Tuchel has Pep's number and has beaten him three times as Chelsea manager.

How did they get lucky in the Champions League? They were never in any danger, dominated the 2 legged ties and City created nothing in the final.

A recent flurry of support on here for City.
Can't understand it - Europeans champions 15/8 dogs at home to 6/4 City ( SL webpage prices )?
I see Werner is picked up front.  Must be his first start of the season.  Tuchel must fancy him to unsettle the City defence again, with his pace and movement, as he did in the final.
City have loads of people who can score goals but only one recognised striker, and he's an enigma.
Intrigued to see if Reece James lines up against Grealish.  That would be worth watching.
Can't see Chelsea losing.
