After the abysmal performance the other night it would take a brave soul to back Rangers @ 13/8. The value for me is 13/5 the draw and only because of the full house. That said, if Celtic turn it on...

Now that the dust has settled let's look at the facts. Rangers played with a depleted side.
In the past seven old firm games Rangers have won six and drawn one. No fluke there.
Celtic are in dire straits at the moment but only a fool would write them off.
And a special mention to Gary McAllister who has done a superb job standing in for SG.
Along way to go yet but we've trapped well.

Rangers coped extremely well with the early pressure and ran the show in the second half.
Balogun was superb as was Davis. Great result and well deserved.

aka - very little between the 2 teams. Rangers fans and the media wrote Celtic off before season started. Celtic will there the whole way this season. It's vital that a fit James McCarthy gets in to the midfield. Another 2 signings coming in I feel the team will get better. Celtic had the best 2 chances today and didn't take them. Another set piece was their Achilles heel.9

When I said team Kriskin, I meant squad, which equates to the same things for those on the bench.
@Kriskin Balogun was MOTM and McCrorie wasn't really tested, although he was quick of his lines to divert danger on a few occasions, so I wouldn't say we were understrength however 3 players who were nursing injuries and would normally have missed the game were Kent, Kamara and Barisic.
Forrest a big miss for celtic but not sure on McCarthy. I also think you've got to sort that defence out as they'll cost you dear.

Jullien and another centre half is required. Kyogo should have been played up the middle from the start instead of Edouard. It will be close this season between both teams. And FYI I backed Rangers today at about an average of 2.73 from during the week and today.
