Roache I remember reading something from TC years ago that in the Brazil match in the 70 World Cup he put in a solid tackle on Jairzinho just to let Jair know he was there - and he just bounced off Jair cos he was that solid Scared

Think Derby won it whilst sunbathing in Majorca, Leeds had just won the cup final against Arsenal and the FA made them play Wolves on the monday night so no time to celebrate the only time we have won the FA cup

Terry was a footballer.  I always remember wee Jinky taking him apart at Hampden one night and Terry never once resorted to putting the wee man in row A.  Seemed too nice a bloke to play for that Leeds side.  R.I.P.
Report Blackrock August 1, 2021 10:40 AM BST
Sad news to hear of Terry's passing. He was a great player. Think he scored the only goal in the League Cup final [late 60's] against us. RIP Terry.
Report Whisperingdeath August 1, 2021 7:29 PM BST
Great player, proper attacking full back.

That great Leeds side is fast falling. My childhood is passing away
