Was it not Ruud Hullit that said,"the team that makes the least mistakes wins the match".That besides,you only need one piece of bad luck and you lose. England play to such a narrow margin of error,that like in '96 when the ball spun over Shiltons head from a deflection off a defender from a free kick, that you end up being sunk. Without that fluke goal England would have won the match.The point is that if you play such safety first to win 1-0,one bit of bad luck usually means that you lose by the odd goal. Our team is well rested with some players hardly been playing half of one match.So we have an advantage fitness wise. Lets hope we for once get some good luck.I would be very upset if we repeated AGAIN,the same mistakes that we have made in the past especially penalties !!!. Remember, narrow margins of error.Lets hope NOT for a repeat.
