If England cant beat this lot it's time to give up punting. A 400/900 will probably be coming this way for my first bet albeit I'm backing another team outright.
The clip starts with him signing off Toyah who once sent me a signed pic and a back-stage pass to her Hammersmith concert. It's a mystery!

Loads of remainers hate to see England do well at anything after Brexit
They just want to see everything go to sh1t so they can gloat
It really is sad to see & now the economy will get a massive boost, especially if we get to the final...and win

I predicted England would struggle and I don’t agree with winning at all costs but, of course, I’m ready to share in the glory.
Who says I wanted England to lose? Not me.I predicted England would struggle and I don’t agree with winning at all costs but, of course, I’m ready to share in the glory.
Why would you be ashamed to be English? Apart from a few morons who think they are hardcases when they follow England, its the greatest nation on earth.

Sport is not just about winning:- it is supposed to teach children how to be good winners and losers and bring people together. I don't like the attitude of people like Lee Dixon. Children are watching and we shouldn't be teaching them to cheat at sport. England is a great country but it is not the only great country, and England's sense of exceptionalism means its fans tend to group together and jeer at the locals when they go abroad. I'm not talking about a minority of hardcases, I'm talking about all of them. Sure, the majority are not hooligans, but those who are are always at the centre, and the rest are too cowardly to call out their behaviour. Where the Scots, Irish et al are capable of mingling are making friends, the England fan doesn't really connect in that way. It's great being in a gang when you're young. Then you grow up, hopefully.

You talk some sh it, been to 3 world cups and 2 Europeans championships made some great friends from them, still talk online regularly to some of them, in particular the Germany world cup met some wonderful people who have stayed at my home when visiting this country.

I do not like fans disrespecting other countries national anthems, and we have been known to do that on occasions. And people who moan about 'foreign' food when abroad.
In fact dismiss my post 10.39 as i was talking bollox.

Nothing at all wrong with 'ten german bombers' ; the german fans see the joke and retaliate with their own 'war' songs. UEFA and the FA should get a bloody grip and stop their virtue signalling carp.

Could agree more blackrock. English fans religiously boo each and every other national anthem. Booing during ANY national anthem is just pathetic and I hate it when we do it as well;

Well, it's like this JJmbe (and this is most polite way I can put it)..you're not the kind of guy to offer a general challenge- regardless of who may be offended - by yourself. Most probably, you would never dream of singing this song except for your need to ingratiate yourself with those who own it.

I have no idea what the feck you are on about or what your agenda is towards the English fans, truth is every nation and every club has that element, but cant wait to meet see you again as we are so well known to each other, not the kind of guy to offer a general challenge wtf , your a mad as a bag of frogs, not french people.

Sorry for not putting it better first time. What I mean to say is this:
JJmbe, a veteran England fan of many competitions and doubtless a very nice person, has stood up in marketplaces in whatever city England have played in, stuck his arms out and wobbled, singing "Ten German bombers."
When JJmbe sings that song, he never calculates whether those hearing or seeing him take offence, he's just trying to fit in.
Put JJmbe in that marketplace in September, he wouldn't do that, on his own.
Agreed, JJmbe?

As i alluded to earlier i met some great people in Germany, i was singing this song when in Baden Baden, god knows what the locals were singing back as i don't speak German but a good time was had by all, a german guy allowed us to park our camper van on his land and use the washing facilities in his barn, spent the second night in the company of his family with a bbq and beers, does that sound like people offended by football songs, you need to get out a bit and turn the bbc off, not everyone in life is offended by a naughty word or something of the wrong colour.

you are a lunatic, nothing to do with BBC, just sensible behavior, I pity you're children and grandchildren and whoever encounters them.

The litmus test is:Can you be an England fan without being a c**t?I would say - from JJmbe's evidence - no.Yet I still support my country. Call me stupid.
Good point about Deerjet fattie. I can see a bit of bother too but unless Deerjet gets five and stymies them all inside I can't see Thorn avoiding it. Granted he is the only wide but unless he smashes again and the others don't for me he's up against it. Could be a very messy one, sadly. If Fairone gets three or four with Deerjet and Newinn inside him I will be betting him again. I think this is a very good front-running dog and he skinned Thorn well previously. But it's all about them repeating/reproducing their recent form, isn't it, and that's the real question for me. Who will? The best dog in the race for me is Ballymac Wild. His big competition record is amazing and we're all ignoring him.

11/8 England HT/FT looks interesting.
Mmmm I think I'll stick to the football for the time being and hold back on the horses. I rarely (without blowing my trumpet) get it wrong in the football market.

The first 12 or so pages of this thread are a perfect example of why this forum has gone to sh!t, The tactical opinions are schoolboyish, the gambling advice non existent ('Eng would be value at evens' - no **** sherlock so would sheargar have been!) and the about turns a sight to behold. It's not about being right or wrong but anyone that said the first half was boring and Eng poor really needs to have a think about if watching football is their thing - let alone gambling dosh on it. Anyone thinking anyone in Europe is linking this tourney with Brexit really doesn't know anything about anything let alone football. Half the teams in wiffa aren't in the EU, pretty much everyone would want Den to win even without the Erikson thing for being the underdog and (primarily for the reasons in the first 12 pages!) would want Eng to lose with to without Brexit. its possible that the result last night has won a few independents over as it was a pretty complete performance - albeit against poor opponents but Eng made them look poor.. Its a shame as this forum used to be a good mix of idiots, now they are all the same kind of idiot!
