Originally I fancied Croatia to give Spain a game, but without Perisic that'll be a task. There again, Denmark have performed well since losing Eriksen so one never knows.

Yep, it's always been on my radar. One of the reasons is your sense of humour up there, which is very similar to east London where I was born and raised. I can relate to it, but should have done it during my younger adult years as I heard the nightlife is great too. Bit too old for that now, but a bit of sight-seeing would still be good.

I think Perisic and Lovran will be big misses for Croatia. I really fancied to lay Spain tonight but now the advice is wait and see. I do think Espania might choke still.
Croatia and Czech are good technical sides with more than journeymen players. Maybe no current superstars but great team ethic and know what they have to do. Engerland in contrast are so blessed but what is our plan? Tomorrow it is just do not lose! Unleash the Beasts I say! Grealish, Foden, Saka and Bellingham ( who could still be the star of the tournament! ). |

I will not buy anything from Sports Direct and will not put money in his pocket as long as he owns Newcastle! Cricket at Riverside, Chester Le street I offered to take 'Mrs Death to Antigua for a Test Match. She said she could not think of anything as unexciting or worse...she has obviously not oop North in the " Summer ". That would be a NO even with out 50F weather, rain and winds off the North Sea...oh and cricket! I will look at your other recommendations though |

Durham has crook Hall, cathedral, and
Castle. Castle is student accom but they give good tours. Cathedral is free, do a tour, have tea and cake in cafe, visit open treasure with monks dormitory Ask to see priors Hall, climb tower Chapter house if open was used in Harry Potter. Door from cloisters too, is in Harry Potter. Your mate uthred, cleared the space for original cathedral, which was removed by Normans to build current cathedral. Nice Lebanese restaurant in Durham, full of students term time. |
