I watched 'I spit on your grave' with my gf on Saturday nite. Your description there Des is very similar to some of the things that happened in that film (which were pretty shocking even for the victims revenge considering how she suffered.)

Crazy Horse, might have been Hunter it was awful though.I was 11 at the time. Too old to cry but old enough to beat up little people who laughed!

Scotland a little unlucky to get nothing at all out of this. Decent teamwork and approach play, but lacking a clinical cutting edge to take their chances.
no it was a different type of toughness them. Bremner was only about 5ft 4 /5 remember but he left his stud imprints on many.
Czechs have some quality. I think I would back them to get a draw at least, against Croatia.

Sad to say, but I suspect Scotland can't do much better than that. They have had quality individuals over the years who might have turned a game, but at the moment they haven't got any.

Actually I thought Scotland were better than I thought they would be. had a few chances, perhaps a bit unlucky not to score so not too bad. Czech's looked decent, two good goals and a big tall, strong side so yes not bad at all Scotland.
I didn't expect much from them regarding getting out of the group and still of course don't but pleasantly surprised they gave it a go.

We deserved something from that game and although he made a few good saves what the feck was Marshall thinking of, standing almost on the centre circle just before they broke for the second.

Considering the amount the Scotch take the p with regard to the Eng media build up to big tourneys (rightly so in most cases) their own build up of the last few months has been a sight to behold. Here's a thought, maybe overconfidence is part of being British........
Can't disagree with you spyker. This Rob McLean, who commentated yesterday, is a prime example of the trash we have to deal with. We"Argentina" vets at least have experience of it, the younger ones don't and just get brainwashed into believing the myth. And myth it is. Even England's most modest squad player would walk into our side. And worse, we get the manager and the captain coming out afterwards and bemoaning how "unlucky" we were. And much, much worse, we look at Dykes and remember Law, Dalglish and Jordan.
