Irishone, as you know my feelings towards THEM...but even I have to admit with the potential of playing most of their games at home, it is a huge advantage for them. Just as a consolation for the girls of the family, to pay for the summer retsina, I have left them overall around a grand green just in case the most sickest situation happens...but I think Rome on a hot night will be their undoing.

The bookies are only just cottoning on that England should never ever have been joint favourites even if playing all games at home, drifting quite a bit from there original price now

Not just the bookie chappies though.
People on here made them 5/1 favs at the outset.

Same with McIlroy.
Always up there with the favs , but has won zilch since he split with Caroline Wozniacki.
All newspaper hype.

The teams that have looked far better than England so far

France (Will kill them on the counter)
Italy
Holland
Belgium (I don't like them but they'd beat England)
Portugal
Germany (I'd still back them over England anyday)

Even Ukraine, Wales and Sweden would do them on that tonight

But please spare us another Sweden England game ffs, that would be hard to get through

what an amusing read - this thread is developing nicely Excited

the likelihood is Italy /England final and then its a coin toss imo

the spirit/confidence in both these camps is equally high - very strong defensibly and flashes of quality from both sides going forward. Hope it comes to pass .....

Meanwhile- 4 of our friends will be holidaying in Scotland the day of the final....whatamistakatomaka ...

Yes, this thread is shaping up to be a belter, but let’s not forget that the OP is a knob of the highest order. Which may take a bit of the shine off it.......or maybe not!
