It's got nothing to do with Believe me, favourites "win" the race far less than you imagine
The only thing that counts is do they win less than what the odds suggest. If they do there is no reason not to lay them at level stakes. And if they don't there is no staking system that's going to be profitable. And when do you decide which dog is the favourite? It's possible for it to change in the last 10 seconds. |

my system places the bet 39 seconds pre the off. Agreed yes it can change in the last 10 seconds. But i have to allow so long for the "BOT" (Bet Angel) to take the bet, hence i give it plenty of time.
If you have a fav of say 3.5, it also has other filters where the 3rd and 4th dog have to be below certain odds, there's a limit to what i'm going to explain obviously otherwise every man and his DOG will be on it |

another way to look at it, go and find 6 overs games with odds of 3's or above, some even take @4's+ see if you can hit 6 in a row at those odds... it will take a lot longer to hit 6 in a row than 1-2 weeks. the time it took to say "youve just doubled your pot."

I invest £50's... roll it till it doubles, and go again... No failures YET, obviously it WILL fail at some point, but will have taken a damn site more £50 pots out than i shall lose. |

A £20 "pot" will be laying "to win" 2p profit per dog As we can see you're now winning 11p a race which means that your bank is £110 I invest £50's... roll it till it doubles, and go again... In that case how can your bank now be £110. Did you forget that double £50 is £100? |

3rd dog would be half stake as it only goes for "half loss" after first 2 dogs, and would be seeking to get 30p profit as its the 3rd dog
ods 3.5 1st, loss of 25p 2nd stake to win 25p +20P(2 dogs winnings) so 45p x 2.5 £1.13 3rd dog, loss of £1.13+25p = £1.38 So stake to win half of £1.38 = 69p+30p (3 dogs winning) = 99p x 2.5 odds = £2.48 give or take a penny |

Where would we be without excel. I've been with betangel for years but haven't used excel to place bets for years. I remember backing the draw when the prices of fav.and over 2.5 suggested that the draw price should be lower.It was at a time when I was only able to earn on about 12 events a year so had a lot of free time to try things out with £2 stakes. Another strategy I tried was to offer to lay every horse in the place market. About two minutes before the off It would place bets at 5,10 and 15 ticks below the current price. Winning days were very rare with that one so it didn't last long. Might not use excel it to place bets but I'd be completely lost without Bet angel and excel. Everything I do involves transfereing the prices onto excel. |
