The approving of names to be added is beyond a joke. Last year, betting on top scorer, couldn't get starting forwards added to the market. Then, with about 7 games to go, they added a couple who had a shot at winning it.

Here for next Spurs boss we have.....

Chris Kamara
George Graham - sacked by Spurs 20 years ago, never managed since, 76 years old.
David Pleat - Managed the club in the 1980s, then had almost a season as caretaker in premier league,  even that is 17 years ago
Franz Beckenbauer - not managed since 1996.
Tim Sherwood
Gazza

Nuno, Poch, Martinez, Conte and Fonseca have all been odds on anyway. Ten Hag matched at evens. Fonseca 1.02, Conte 1.1
Report WhiteHatJon June 29, 2021 3:53 PM BST
It would now seem likely that one of the International Managers is now the preferred candidate for Daniel.

At the time of writing :

Martinez - 4.1
Mancini - 9
Enrique - 44
Deschamps (Out) - 34
Southgate - 44
Low - 48

Of the above, only Martinez or Enrique would be even partially acceptable to me. There is only one other scenario, if Poch stirred up a real stink as we speak, PSG might say enough is enough and go for Deschamp, and the dominos would then start to fall.

I've had one small bet on the Saints manager and not even that bizzare result would surprise me, after this complete, and total, circus.

Ok, I'm starting to think that Nuno wouldn't be the worst appointment.  He did well at Wolves and they did play good football (besides last season where they lost some players) and regularly troubled the big sides. Spurs just need to appoint someone/anyone asap so they can prepare for pre-season, transfers etc. Welcome to Spurs, Sir. Nuno.Excited Excited

I admire Levy.  He will appoint the best man available.  Much better to wait and get it right, than make a panic signing.  I'm sure there is a staff ready to kick training off as and when it is required.  Time will tell but one thing is for sure - he will not be browbeaten into anything.  Cool

Tottenham have appointed Nuno Espirito Santo as their new head coach.

The former Wolves boss has signed a two-year deal with the north London club bringing an end to their long-running search for Jose Mourinho's successor.

Spurs' new managing director of football Fabio Paratici has led the club's search for a new permanent head coach and close the deal as he flew into London for the first time on Tuesday.

The Spurs hierarchy have held talks with Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, Paulo Fonseca, Gennaro Gattuso and Julen Lopetegui since the end of the Premier League season.

Santo was not a candidate when he left Wolves at the end of the season as Spurs pursued other targets, but emerged as the leading contender in the last week.

The Portuguese brought Wolves into the Premier League in 2018 and established them as a top-half side - twice finishing seventh - until last season, when they ended 13th.

HGS, I was +300.05 Nuno.

Very fortunate really as Nuno was a write off candidate for me. I layed him between 2 and 4 when he was said to be leaving Wolves and saw no need to green up, was keeping at him 500+ red.

Then I found an article, that had been released about 5 minutes earlier, saying Patriaci liked Nuno and had considered him for Juventus. That was the first sign that anyone at Spurs rated Nuno, so I went and backed him from 27 down to about 14. That got my red below 200 and I was careful to keep it no higher afterwards. The last bit of luck was the other morning when I was about 170 red on him as he was trading about Evens when the Fenrbace rumour came out. Even if it was likely true I was going to at least go level on him at double figures, but I got as high as 46 and average about 16 for the sake of 30-40 £ which didn't upset my position on any of the other much.
