Shalke recently sacked their manager

For me a man who would admirably suit Levy's penny-pinching ways exactly is the man who is currently the longest-serving manager in the EPL. He has consistently bought cheaply and wisely and operated to a strict budget. He has successfully navigated many very dry periods of losses and defeats so knows how to keep his nerve and survive with his team in the top league. He is eight years and 200+ games experienced in the EPL and needs a fresh challenge. He is of course Sean Dyche. However, he as as much chance of getting the gig as Ryan Giggs has of becoming chair of the Women's Institute.

Would Spurs fans be enthused about Scott Parker?
Seems one of the favs for this |
By:
Parker as a player and manager is the opposite to entertaining, he stands no chance, they should bring back Redknapp.

Would Brendan Rodgers take the job

This site claims to have some sources at the club
As football.london reported last week, the club's profile for their ideal next manager is that they must be progressive, attack-minded, favouring possession-based football and most importantly fit into Spurs' culture, which includes using the cutting edge techniques implemented during Pochettino's reign. It is believed to be more of a long list than a shortlist at Tottenham right now, with many potential targets in employment and hitting the business end of their seasons. The chances of Julian Nagelsmann, one of those strong candidates overlooked when Mourinho was appointed, joining the club currently look to be receding by the day as Bayern Munich circle the young RB Leipzig boss, who is expected to cost a hefty compensation fee to prise away. Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has plenty of admirers within Tottenham. However, with the Foxes looking set for Champions League football next season and him having signed a six-year deal only 18 months ago, it presents a tough ask to get him to north London. Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag is another potential candidate, while the style of football played by Brighton manager Graham Potter and Belgium boss Roberto Martinez also has its fans within the club. Former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri does not fit that ideal profile set by the club but is an attractive proposition to Tottenham, with his list of honours and the fact that unlike the other managers, he would come without a compensation fee at a tough time for the club's finances. However, his lack of English will count against him. Another who falls into the cheaper category is the out of work Ralf Rangnick, the 62-year-old experienced former RB Leipzig and Schalke boss who plays the brand of football that would suit Tottenham. Links with former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo and Atletico Bilbao's Marcelino are believed to be wide of the mark at this point, while other rumoured candidates such as England boss Gareth Southgate and ex-Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe are not currently expected to be in the frame. |

Anyone but Southgate. Last thing we need is a smooth-talking suit. I'd go for Rafa. Warrior with a Satanic Beard.
