I struggle myself case, but as your thread title says gambling, unless one alters their mindset from "gambling" to an investment strategy, then this needless frustration will always be there.

A question rather than thinking you were unlucky with the one that let you down, have you considered that maybe you were lucky with some of the bets that came in.

Spurs.. 1.33 Man City -1.. 1.73 Arsenal.. 1.8   3/1 ... Kind of fully expect Spurs to fk this up too.

I once had back to back 15 2.5s where 1 game let me down and it was Millwall both times, hence my hatred for them, not because they are a horrible club or anything it was because they technically cost 3 grand in 6 days, I was 18 at the time and just started gambling and was skint Laugh

So this is the answer if you are sick of gambling.
"you go to the seaside and look at the waves ,this is very therapeutic to say the least, but surprise surprise it is the best therapy for curing a losing run,its psychological therapy that is proven to work wonders,if you can not get to the seaside check youtube for a waves breaking video.
something happens to your subconscious that can not be explained when a guy looks at waves breaking,it will sort out the losing run very quickly.CHECK IT OUT ,then come back and place your bet, never known to fail.Wink

Chasing losses is the killer. Doing my currants today and have lumped on Benicia to qualify. If Arsenal turn this around, it will be a dreadful day.

Not a great day betting wise, Sofa. Made worse by the fact that I was actually up after the end of the Test Match. Discipline, and avoiding horse racing altogether, would seem the way forward. But I’m probably too old to learn now.

The Caterpillar has to die before it is reborn, before you knew this you all said "when your dead your dead there is no after life, and you did not believe in heaven!
"now i tell you to check out a waves breaking on the shore video ,and you will find your gambling heaven."it really really works"ShockedShockedShockedShockedShockedShocked and nobody can explain it,but your mind thinks differently after viewing one video, and the winners flow in as your available to bet balance runs up like a petrol pump clock.GrinGrinGrin

Very bad advice . Playing on Betfair is a numbers game - thats it . Find an edge and repeat over and over and over  ,  play the long game and with correct money management its just a game of patience . Its RUSH that kills accounts  .

Horse Racing is the most specialist sport, I find it impossible to win during a month never mind long term. Its the 2nds that kill you in horse racing, the amount of times your done close home is enough to commit sometimes

I can take late goals in football but a done on the line 2nd in horse racing I just can't handle it

I actually prefer football which is flipped as I use to prefer horse racing, I find it more fun and its easier to mess around with systems and not lose to much ie when going on tilt, football does have a ceiling for my temperament, whereas horse racing I can do my absolute nuts on chasing.

There is a saying in the history books by the eminent Roman philosopher Slicerius which, translated from the Latin, states: "If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got!" Applies to most things in life including winning, losing & accumulators!
