Looking forward as a neutral to a good game, but from a betting point of view if Man utd win what price will they be to win the league. Just short of 7/1 now would think they'd be 3/1 at most if they win today, whereas can't see Liverpool contracting much if they win maybe go 11/4 from 100/30 depending upon Man City result.
If you think Man utd win today back them to win league now imo.

2:1 Liverpool is how I see it.

If Man utd don't manage to con the ref and var ref on a penalty or important free kick then Liverpool will win. They have too much firepower for what is apretty didgy united defence against good teams. See Champions League.

Yes I was disappointed with United, barely laid a glove on them till the very end.

they're the second highest scorers in the league, scored 9 more than City (though that will of course change today), Liverpool have only scored 3 more than them.

Ole won the psychological battle, United on top after getting a point at Anfield, Liverpool couldn't break them down.

What difference it was at Anfield, scandi? It will be exactly the same tactics at OT I fear.

tactics always differ from home to away, teams tend to set up more defensively away, what's wrong with that anyway, if Liverpool were not good enough to break them down they need to ask why, United's defence simply better than Liverpool's attack today.

If Pirlo had a bit more experience like Ole he wouldn't have been so naïve to be so open away to one of the best teams in Serie A, a lesson he has learnt no doubt.

Klopp's cv over the last 3 seasons is unmatched yet his "star" summer signing was Jota.  He may turn out to be a fine player but he is not going to unduly worry the autopilot twins(salah and mane)is he?  Sheff utd net spend this summer greater than Liverpool.  Leeds and Villa just spent more.  With the greatest will in the world messrs Bielsa, Smith and Wilder aint winning the EPL or UCL anytime soon.  Either Liverpool board are taking advantage of Klopp's good nature or they are saving pennies for a big signing later(I reckon they will sell big before they buy big).  Just the musings of a muggy neutral

as a managers, Pirlo will learn when and when not to be pragmatic, Ole has a good record v Pep and Klopp compared to most managers, if Ole was in charge of Juventus he'd have been wise enough to have set up differently, experience counts.

Set up differently and may still have lost the game, the point in any case was about the the different mentality between Serie A and the pub league.

but that mentality cost them the game, it's about the right mentality at the right time not approaching every game the same way, that's something a novice does which is why Pirlo still is relatively speaking, Ole identified Liverpool's strength and set up accordingly, not many teams will get anything at Anfield this season, they're currently on an unbelievable run at home, same thing as last season, Solskjaer's team were the only side that took any points off them I think until last day in February.

It is true about Serie A however, they averaging more goals per game than the Premier League and a higher % of over's by some distance, far cry from how it was in the 90's with every team having a defensive approach nearly, they're pretty much on a par with Eredivisie which has always been goal crazy.

Well not neccesarily they may have set up definsively and still lost. They also probably had a better chance of winning the game, and as I said this was about different mentalities, not which approach was correct for the games being played.

I look at football from two perspectives, gambling and secondly entertainment, I know which league I prefer for both. I watched both and bet neither in the end but there was a clear difference in approach and entertainment, yes Serie A is an entirely different beast from when I started watching it in the 90s on CH4.

Juve didn't seem to fear or have enough respect for Inter and paid for it, always for entertainment thus far Serie A probably a better watch, it seems as if a lack of fans is having an opposing effect in each league, which is strange.
