Chelsea have a goalkeeping problem, so Mendy is in, Ziyech is a big plus as is Chilwell, new signings both injured, Pulisic probably their best player, he's been out injured as well, other new signings like Havertz and Werner still settling, time to judge Lampard is not now in fairness.

I still think Lampard was only there to appease the fans whilst in a embargo, I think after he got top 4 last season under the circumstances it would have been cruel to sack him, but I think half of those signings aren't his and they are waiting for the perfect time to sack him and get another top continental coach in

Lampard maybe should have stayed at Derby another season in hindsight, he was tactically inept in that season but still got them to Wembley, if he'd stayed another season he might have improved that side of his coaching
