Oh right. I don't think he'll leave for free, Barca will dispute that and will want a fee. City will really be taking the píss if they pay big bucks for him. He's a free agent in a year, he could wait til then and make an extra £100m+ for himself in what may be his last big contract or if Barca demand a monster fee. Don't see it happening this Summer.

Sounds one of those fantasy offers that never materialises though. Surely it's a huge gamble to make an offer like that given you're upsetting those players for a deal that might not even happen. It's also incredibly short term business given the age of those players for a 33 year old.
