Wigan unders @ 2.3 looks overpriced.

Wigan, I believe it's five league games since they let one in at home, and Fulham's away games are usually low scoring. Both sides need to win, so could be cagey.

West Brom unders could be a ludicrous price @ 2.70. The last few months they've struggled at home, and QPR have become very low scoring of late too. Add the pressure of the situation and that could also be a slow burner.

But a mug bet of WBA and Brentford in the double @ 1.77 for me Laugh

can someone explain the relegation market to me?  Why are Middlesbrough at a price that implies no -12 penalty for Wigan

Penalty applied after season finishes .......season will end with litigation not a football match.

and that means what?   Why are Wigan 1.7 for relegation then.

Because it isn't nailed on they'll be deducted, I suppose, Sam.

Unless Money Tree bets on them to stay up, of course.

Derby could yet be deducted points that sees them drop down there as well

Sheff Weds, Charlton and Wigan also, Hull could yet weasle their way out of it despite deserving multiple relegations ffs

Been trying to get my head round this...

BF Exchange Rules : If a team is relegated from a league because, at the end of a season, it has finished within the relegation positions which are relevant to that league (i.e. usually any of the bottom three league positions), bets on that team to be relegated will be settled as winning bets. For the avoidance of doubt, if a points deduction is imposed on a team such that it finishes the season within the relegation places which are relevant to the applicable league, bets on that team to be relegated will be settled as winning bets.

Whereas many High St firms have rules such as : If any team has points deducted during the season from its total attained on the field of play, the deduction will be included in its final total. However, if any deduction is made after all the games in that division have been completed, it will have no effect on the final total.

and : The official league table at the conclusion of the final match of the scheduled season will determine the settlement of bets. This will include any point penalties incurred at any stage before the end of the scheduled season. End of season play-offs will not count.

EFL will deduct 12 points from Wigan "after" the end of the game tonight...anyone certain how these will get settled?

Wigan vs Fulham has to go overs, surely.  o5.5

Fulham will need to keep an eye on the other two games, should WBA and Brentford go behind they'll need to score

If they know one of them have gone in front (esp WBA) they'll down tools in my opinion

Wigan to win and over 3.5 for me

Middlesbrough relegation price implies a 99% chance of no Wigan -12 deduction before settlement, Wigan relegation price implies a 5% chance of no -12 deduction before settlement
That's what I'm trying to get at

their rules are ambiguous, does not specify how bets will settle should deduction of points happen post season conclusion on the field or even give a timeframe/cut off point post season.

According to the back of my **** packet, I make the Wigan 12 pt deduction about 45% chance based on their relegation price and prices of games tonight

They seem to have confirmed to me via Twitter that any subsequent appeal by Wigan which saves them from relegation will not be regarded as "official"

I explained that the L2 relegation market not yet been settled and Stevenage could be backed at 1.15 and 1.16 and they suspended the market without settling it

Scrub that, 70% instead of 45%.  Glad I'm not betting on this

"Hi there, I just wanted to get back to you with an update. Wigan entered administration and a 12-point penalty will be applied immediately after Wednesday’s final Championship game against Fulham, but is subject to appeal. They are currently 13th in the league but will find themselves in the relegation zone after 46 games if they fail to beat Fulham because of 12-point deduction. We will settle the market today on official result of governing body. - Mathias"

Bilic’s management of pressure clearly up for debate, his team have bottled game after game
