Away goals are still in operation so Liverpool go through with a score draw in munich if this ends 0-0- not sure what you mean by the old days

Barca are usually confident of winning well at home, so no need to chase the away leg if it's not happening on the night.

Baffling comm from bt, bayern came for 0-0 and got it but pool were pretty poor with the final ball and that wasn't always down to bm. Despite what beglin et al say I don't think it's a bad result at all for pool as the 2nd leg will be far more open esp as far as bm are concerned.

Liverpool played well tonite. Ze hard tackling German's were resilient tough tacklers in defence, snuffing out the many chances Liverpool created.

All to play for in the second leg. Near to 50/50 IMHO. I am sure we will score out there, Bayern Munich may come to rue their lack of an away goal, which may come back to haunt them.

This schizo, aka 1% pea brain, aka as HFT, is a pretty accurate summary from the BBC of what I saw at Anfield tonite.

I know u can barely grunt, let alone read or understand but this is a good and accurate report of Liverpool V Bayern Munich tonite:

Liverpool's Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich remains finely poised after a goalless draw in the first leg at Anfield.

The hosts posed the greater threat but were either wasteful in front of goal or kept out by Bayern's well-marshalled defence.

Sadio Mane missed a handful of first-half chances, most notably dragging a shot on the turn wide from inside the penalty area when unmarked.

Joel Matip also failed to convert Roberto Firmino's cross from six yards.

Matip almost handed Bayern an away goal early on when his misdirected clearance rebounded to safety off Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.

The German champions were excellent defensively in the second half, with Mane's 85th-minute header at the near post the closest Liverpool came to scoring.

The second leg at the Allianz Arena will take place on 13 March.

Although this is utter nonsense and of all the ch league matches i think we all know who has looked the poorest and who the only team outclassed (in every aspect of the game) so far is, BM may regret not trying to score as if they had they could have scored a couple and put the tie to bed. The above BBC summary is pretty fair I'd say and either side could score 3-4 goals if the attacks are on fire. Not sure what you mean by 'out processioned' as i don't recall any marching bands last night  - here have a read of the stats and judge for your self who was out classed https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2019/matches/round=2000981/match=2026848/statistics/index.html?iv=true
