Probably. I'd rather he gave some of the academy and youth team players a chance than paying huge wages to the likes of Timo and Tammy. These two would not improve the squad.

As you're all probably aware by now, Ndombele is gone after a deal made with Levy. Probably Levy saying f*** off or we'll bench you for a season.

Romero is apparently wanted by Real. This one appears to be hitting a lot of headlines so I trust this gossip a little more than the rest of the tripe I'm reading, which is minimal to be fair.

Looks like defence will remain a major issue this season....even when the first choice defenders are available. Ange will never change his ways.

Can't argue sofa, but I was always prepared to give him this season to see if a few changes might help. I'm not hopeful, but will continue to support him in the meantime.

Still no summer signings (besides an 18 year old boy from Leeds). We can probably expect the usual penny pinching panic buys from Levy in the final days of the transfer window. A striker is urgently required but they'd better not spend 65 million on Solanke.

The boy from Leeds looks an excellent buy. Still think £40m is a lot, but from what I've seen, he has a big future. The South Korean looks good in South Korea, not so sure about here. If we support our reserves/U21 we should have something to cheer though

Yes, Archie Grey looks a very good prospect. As does Lucas Bergvall. Both should get plenty of game time this season. Werner, Madisson and Johnson are all shyte though. If Ange has no intention of tweaking his tactic[s]s[/s] then he'll be gone by November. Every single team in the league has figured out how to counteract Angeball.

I quite like Johnson and I believe that the best is yet to come from him. Agree with Werner totally and (to a degree) Madisson, who doesn't appear bothered about putting in a performance; he was the same towards the end of his Leicester career. What I've seen of Bergvall hasn't convinced me yet, even after watching the videos of 'just' him during a whole match. Jury still out on that one. Kulusevski on the other hand seems to have picked up a little in a more central role.

Angeball isn't going anywhere. If he persists with it (which we all know he will) then he'll have to get it right this term or he'll lose us all.

What do you expect this year sofa? For me, CL qualification at an absolute minimum. Add in a cup somewhere and I'm sure most of us will get back onboard.

My optimism is waning due to the lack of transfer activity, Aspro. Still look very weak up top and a proper defensive midfielder is urgently required. Top 4 looks wildly optimistic to me as things currently stand.

Well, it's top 4 or bust for Ange... let's hope we get a lift this season and during this window. God knows we need one.

Ange Imposternotaclue on very shaky ground. Take away the purple patch when Angeball caught the league by surprise at the beginning of last season and you'll see that Spurs are a lower mid-table team under this guy.

Today was a tight game which could easily ended up 0-0. Didn't think we'd concede as our defence is rock solid.
