3 at the back is the way to go, but they need a solid central defender in the 3. Not Eric Dier who is better in the middle at reading the game and not last line of defence. Ben Davies can play the 3rd CB but only as back up. Sanchez might get a go if he has a left foot!!

problem is Sofa, they all drop the intensity at the same time, that's when you need leaders on the pitch. Lloris captain of France isn't captain Spurs need, he can get away with being a mute captain for France, he has the most talented bunch of footballers around him. Spurs need a leader outfield who can be heard.

several times in defence they was all on top of each other, covering the same space. That is communication!! Eric Dier is a nice guy, but doesn't dominate. Ben Davies doesn't command respect of his fellow pro's. Sanchez doesnt know the time of day and Romero I don't think speaks the same language. Hoijberg is he a leader to set example? All The Best teams has captain that leads out on pitch.

Spurs hasnt got one player on that pitch who demands respect of his team mates, organizes and leads by example when they need it.

Declan Rice does it for West Ham, Henderson or Van Djyk does it for Liverpool and that bang average rightside CB for Chelsea does it, which means he has a place in that chelsea side!! Dias and Fernadinho does and did it for City. Where is that leader at Spurs. There isnt one, its all to soft an nice. Conte needs a captain and leaders!!

My only slight reservation is that we have appointed Chavski rejects before, none of which have worked.

Some years ago my company put up a weekend in Monaco to be auctioned off for the benefit of Chris Hughton's testimonial. The auction was held at the Dorchester and a couple of weeks later I had to go to a Spurs Monaco match and present the tickets to the 2 supporters who'd bid for the trip, accompanied by Glen Hoddle on the pitch at half time.
After the match, I was chatting to the supporters who were p1ssed of at how badly Spurs had played, I think they lost 3-0, anyway, they were full of hope that the current manager,Terry Venables could win the league with the club. I remember saying that it would take him 30 years to do that, they were absolutely useless and it seems that they're not much better today!

His combustibility is a concern - only lasted 2 years at Chelski for that reason - they couldn't wait to get shot of him.

But, perhaps he may have learned & mellowed?

Whip-Pic, I've wanted him gone since the European Champions League Final after he insisted he was fit, was chosen and then was invisible for the whole game. Poch made a Big Mistake. By playing Kane he broke-up a winning team and destroyed morale.

A forward needs service and he has none. Doesn't matter how many runs he makes. His confidence is not there at the moment. Skip and Hjobjerg are completely negative. Sideways, backwards, five yard wall passes. Looked so much better without the ball against Everton but in possession the midfield are ten yards too far back to have any affect on their attacks. It would help if they didn't stand behind opponents and moved about a bit.CrazyA lot of work needed in midfield and some new additions.

The players must have had advance notice of this as they've been conducting that trial for months.

Under Poch we were always top or near the top on distance run in matches. Now we're usually last in that category. First job for Conte is to get the players fit again. They won't be able to deliver on his tactical requirements until they are.

It's West Ham... If anyone's delusional, it's them...

Delusional - characterized by or holding idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder:

Not sure how you can possibly accuse West Ham supporters of being delusional . We are well aware of what we are , what we are capable of and where we sit in the grand scheme of things . 40 years without a trophy is sufficient evidence to ensure we keep our feet firmly on the ground . Yes , we do cling to the possibility that we may reach a cup final this season , possibly even win one God forbid , but we certainly ain't under any illusions . We've been here before and have become conditioned to failure and disappointment . We are on a good run with a decent group of players but that's about it .
Incidentally the "We are West Ham , we are massive" line is laced with more than a hint of irony . It's a form of self-deprecating humour which is clearly something that you seem to lack . Self-deprecating humour is something you could do with right now . It may serve you well in the coming months .
PS. Can't argue with the 'symptom of mental disorder' bit . COYI Happy

Yep, Conte will have learnt a lot about his players after Thursday's debacle. In some ways it was probably a positive result for the club and helps Conte  quickly identify where changes are needed. I'd honestly prefer if they go out of this **** competition in the group stages. Even with a strong team they struggle to beat the minnows and there is zero chance of this rabble winning the Europa Conference.
