You would be hard pressed to find many posts on the 'sevco thread' where akabigot doesn't mention either Celtic or Lennon, and the irony of him calling others obsessed is, er, ironic. If you want to vent your spleen about Celtic, please post on the Celtic thread, I don't want to have to warn you again akabigot. Angry

A wee bit of irony there Joe. Look through that thread and you wont see a post by me. The reason? I have no interest in Celtic apart from knowing what team they are fielding against Rangers.

Good 4-0 victory against Utd. A few injuries marred the win but I think we have enough in reserve not to panic just yet.
Good to see Rangers setting another record with 7 clean sheets in a row at the start of the season.
With Hibs away as our next league game I'd settle for 2-1 or 3-2. Records okay but victories more important.
Lincoln Red Imps away on Thursday. I know they beat celtic 1-0 in a qualifier but was early doors and I think Rangers will win 2-0 or 3-0.

In the 3rd round qualifiers Mac how do you rate the 4 Scottish clubs chances?
Report themightymac September 18, 2020 5:31 PM BST
Easy money -2 at the end of the day. Grin

Celtic obviously have the easier draw and should coast through but the way things are going just now I wouldn`t bank on it.

Willem are no mugs and with Gala or Split waiting in the wings Gers have a very tough draw, but they play really well in this competition and can do it.

Motherwell face a tough task against the Israelis but can win but Pilzen or the Danes if they go through looks much much harder.

Aberdeen will have an easier match in the next round if they beat Sporting Lisbon, but not many will fancy their chances of doing that.

I hope all four go through for the sake of Scottish football but that is highly unlikely.

I'm guessing if we concede a goal tomorrow we wont win. I may be wrong but it would do wonders confidence wise for our defence. We are scoring goals but Hibs are 3rd top and no mugs. I'd take 0-1 now. 1/2 Rangers on here. The draw looks overpriced @7/2. That said if Alfredo plays to his peak we could bang in 2 or 3. As for speculation about his future not even Gerrard knows what the outcome will be but if he does leave and Man Utd don't sign him he'll be playing for a smaller club. (nap)

Speaking to talkSPORT, Jack Wilshere has been discussing his next move after seeing his contract with West Ham come to a mutual termination.

Journalist Nicolo Schira (via The Sun) revealed that Rangers were in advanced talks to sign the ex-Arsenal man, but his comments suggest he is far from moving to Ibrox.

Wilshere told talkSPORT: ‘ “I think I want to try something different – I am leaning towards that. Maybe La Liga, Italy, something a little bit different that not many English players have done. I am probably going to take a week or two to decide.’

A week or two to decide?? Hardly Rangers material which I thought from the beginning of the rumour.

I see sevco have had to raise another share issue, this time for £8 Million Shocked. In normal business this is done to fund a particular new development or project, in sevco's case it's being done to cover losses. It's only October and you are having to do this again. How much money did Gerrard spend in this window? They have turned down good money for players that other clubs would have been forced to sell, but no not sevco. The club's present home ground since 2004 is the Falkirk Stadium, an 7,937 all-seater stadium on the outskirts of Falkirk.

James Tavernier lofted the ball forward and Jermaine ran in between the centre backs and guided the ball into the net with his left foot.
Not much else happened. Livi hit the post and we the crossbar. A few tame efforts from Jack and that was it.
