Rangers go into the preliminary knockout round

preliminary knockout round = the eight europa league runners up and the eight champions league third place teams

i'm not sure whether they are drawn against each other, or whether there is an open draw

Lazio have qualfied, could still win group or finish second

Earned a nice sum from last nights match.
Full house receipts plus £630k for the win and £550k for finishing second.
Add on the £4.5m for SG and thats the £7.5m we required for the rest of the season. Saves the HNW guys putting their hands in their pockets.
A play-off game to look forward to with another full house at Ibrox and no need to sell.

Congrats GH on celtic winning a Conference Lidl league play-off spot.
I hope you avoid the giants like Flora or Lincoln Red Imps. GL. Wink

I'm sure you meant tears there. Grin

The Conference Lidl League ad is fantastic.
I think that footage at the end is the Flora stadium.

Where do you see Scottish football in twenty years time aka, Celtic and Rangers still in the same place dominating but with less tv revenue, therefore lesser calibre players, best players and managers using them as a stepptstone for better thiings as we are seeing now.

Another great win again yesterday. These are the games we must win with a 30,000,000  jackpot at the end of the rainbow plus what we make in Europe this season.

If we get it right it will be Van Brockhurst who will be doing the buying.

3 great goals in that 3-1 victory over Livingston.
1 - Taverniers ball to Arfield then the control and finish were superb, goal of the season contender.
2 - Hagis pinpoint crossfield pass to Kent who controlled instantly before passing to Morelos who slipped the ball to Aribo who hit a curler into the top right corner giving the keeper no chance.
3 - Great leap by Sakala to bullet a header into the back of the net.
A fantastic overall performance.

@ G Hall
If the interest in the game takes a dip down south then the TV companies will look for something to give the game a boost.
If they think that the Old Firm is the answer then they'll put pressure on the football authorities to admit them to the EPL.
Until then we'll remain as we are with the odd punching above our weight as in Seville and Manchester.

A really tough test awaits us tomorrow night at Easter Road.
A must win game if our momentum in the league race is to be maintained.
I'll wait and see the team selection first but leaning towards a bet on a 3-1 victory to the Gers.
I wonder what result Guiseppe will go for?

Rangers offering extended and improved contracts to both Joe Aribo and Connor Goldston.
Looks like both will rundown their contracts and leave at the end of the season.
Rangers will in that case try to sell in the January window.
Not too bothered at Aribo going as we have plenty of cover but Goldston will need to be replaced.

Commercial side going well with a huge rise in revenues expected this season and ongoing.

That's a brave bet aka but I hope it stots in. I haven't looked at the betting, hoping only for the three points. Hibs are no mugs but we have the superior squad albeit Hibs will be up for this one.

0-0 at HT and no complaints but Rangers stepped up in the second half and piled on the pressure.
A deserved victory in the end thanks to a stonewaller of a penalty, courtesy of the headless chicken that is Porteous, which Roofe expertly despatched into the back of the net.

2 away games, Livi and Hibs, where points could have been dropped but 6 points in the bag leaving us 7 points clear at the top of the league.

Still working my way through the AGM but as predicted the £7.5million we needed for the rest of the season is in the bank, plus a bit extra.
The MD, Stewart Robertson, added that we will show a profit for this season. Maybe those that said we were skint will listen to me now.
I'm always happy to put you right. Happy

Honcho spewing which only adds to the enjoyment.

See thats what happens when you attack and have skilful players.
Defenders cant defend against them and have to resort to fouling.

Connor Goldson has rejected an extension and improvement to his contract with Rangers saying they won't offer any more.
Aston Villa rumoured to be interested in Leon King.
Defoe no longer part of the coaching staff so he'll leave when his contract ends next summer.
Expecting a few mid-fielders to be moved on as well.
With Rangers in financial stability I'd expect any cash from transfers to be given to GVB.

Football was a theme in UK password choices, with "liverpool" coming in third place. The team name was 121 in the world ranking — used 934,857 times, it may be the most popular team in the world.

"Liverpool1" was eighth on the UK list, "arsenal" was tenth, "chelsea" was at number 11, and "rangers" was at number 19.

The point is still a good one as all Scottish football fans of a certain age can verify.
It's been a fact of Scottish football life for a century.
I sincerely hope that Rangers fans behave themselves in Lyon.  They are representing England after all.  At least in their little pea-brained minds.
