Lafferty said tonight he's hoping Rangers come in with an increased offer.
Hopefully be our player by Monday. |

If sevco beat Rangers on Sunday they will be above Celtic in the league

Certainly be the first time a team has played itself in an official match.

Another decent performance today.
Could have been 3 or 4 even though we were down to 10 men. Looking good for the season with all the players behind the manager. |
By:
Praise for gerard indeed, he appears to have realised the most important part of the game is where you get possession of the ball, you get it in the opponents penalty box and you get more shots and more goals. People who pay to watch games want to see goalmouth action. Not thousands of passes across the back line or in and out of midfield.

Hearts said no to a renewed bid for Lafferty.
Same cash plus a player. A 3rd bid is expected today. Hearts wanting 750k. The player reported as Lee Wallace, not surprised they said no. |

Rangers have rejected a £3.75m bid for Morelos from Bordeaux.
Reports suggesting Rangers and Hearts are close to agreement over a fee for Lafferty. |
By:
Bordeaux seemingly still interested and ready to put in an improved offer.
Unless it's silly money I can't see him going. As regards Lafferty this is what Levein said. He seems happy enough," Levein said. "I've not had any problems with him. "He certainly looked to be smiling on Saturday anyway, that's for sure. "We're in discussions all the time. Obviously the situation is not of our making and we'll see what happens. "There's no point in me going over any details. Things are ongoing." Likes his little jokes does Craig. ![]() |

Latest re DK
Earlier today, Lady Wolffe refused to hear the Takeover Panel’s Contempt of Court application against Dave King because it was so legally flawed. The case was kicked out leaving the Takeover Panel in a state of disarray. They had gone to Edinburgh expecting to force Mr King to comply but left with their tails between their legs. Now they have to explain to their bosses in London why their case was so badly composed. |

Strong rumours that we're trying to sign Lawrence Shankland from Ayr Utd.
Albeit to let him remain there on loan until end of the season. Scored 28 goals last season and 2 against Dundee today. Could be one for the future although Hearts are apparently interested as well. A replacement for Lafferty? His actions yesterday suggested he's leaving. |

Ayr United at Ibrox for the quarter-finals.

Great draw for Ayr with a 6 figure sum guaranteed.
(Still 4 figures short of iamas normal bet ![]() |

I notice Rangers are 4/6 with most books which given our recent results could be a decent price against FC Ufa. They have drawn one and lost two of their last three games but no duds.
Another bet I fancy is Atalanta at 1/2 whom I think will get by Copenhagen with a decent first leg result. The double pays 6/4 and I'll have a couple of bob on that. g/l if getting involved. |
By:
Atalanta now a 4/9 shot with Rangers now an average of 1/2. Win or lose I've bagged the odds.
|
By:
Rangers looking more and more stronger with every game. No reason why they cannot win the SPLF with current squad with Celtic regressing
|
By:
It's a good result not giving an away goal. Never saw the game but Stevie G still unbeaten.
|
By:
Haven't saw any of the match so far but reports suggest a decent performance.
Still a few players missing, especially in midfield, with Coulibaly and Dorrans badly missed and Murphy out for the season. Good to see Wallace on the bench, gives SG the option of moving Flanagan to right-back (his natural position, and playing Tavernier in mid-field. |

11/2 Rangers next Sunday is a Bit Value

Tough away game in the return against UFA on Thursday to contend with first.
|
By:
FC Ufa, sorry.
|
By:
That's four points blootered due to added on time. On the bright side Stevie lad has managed us eleven times and still unbeaten.
|
By:
Celtic don't look strong this season so their chance to end their sequence is there this season imo
But throwing away points in added time is the sign of a mentally weak team |
By:
they never threw away points motherwell battered them and should have won
|
By:
But they were winning 2-3?
That's kinda throwing away points personally, if your winning you control the game Different opinion I suppose ![]() |
By:
I would have said they failed to hold on after getting a doing, but you're entitled to your opinion, but they've always struggled at Fir Park.
Anyway, I hope Gary enjoyed his official visit back though, potentially great talent in 80's. Wee Tam Knew he was destined for the top, even then when he struggled back in Scottish First Division. |
By:
Only saw the last 20 minutes, Motherwell battered them, Rangers lumping it long to no one. Hartley should of scored before he did, not sure how McGregor got away with jumping on him on the ground. Motherwell had 80% possession last 10 minutes.
Still only August and they look physically knackered already. Their squad looks very thin. Gerard said their main priority when he came in was to get them exceptionally fit. Maybe they've overdone it. |
By:
tbf it`s a great result for Motherwell to get a draw against a World Class side

Tavernier at fault for 2 of the goals today and a few others in earlier games.
Good going forward but found out of position in defence too often. We sat back and let Motherwell come at us, made them look good in that 2nd half. Hopefully Coulibaly and Dorrans back soon. SG got the team going in the right direction. Best in Scotland at their best. |
By:
Must congratulate celtic on their hard fought victory over Hamilton.
The 20k crowd got behind their team to a man, well most of their team. ![]() |
