Something strange going on with the ticketing.
Before the Checkatrade final, season ticket holders and members were limited to 1 each and riffraff like me had a lot of trouble logging on in the third phase and there was low availability.
This time those who got 1st and 2nd dibs could buy 6 and SAFC put out the message this morning:

"Phase three will be open to any supporter who was previously registered and was eligible to purchase a ticket for the Chectkatrade Trophy final.
This sales phase will open at 9am on Tuesday 21 May.
Supporters are advised that a very limited number of tickets are available in this phase and there is a limit of ONE ticket per customer number."

It was much easier to log on and there was loads of available seats. Despite that SAFC put out this message afterwards:

"Due to additional tickets now being made available, supporters are able to purchase up to SIX tickets per customer number in phase three of the Wembley sales process."

Just checked again and there's still similar seats available to when I looked this morning.

I smell a rat.

trying to shift them asap because of timescales.
what i dont understand is in phase 1 why not give st holders chance to buy 6 immediately rather than wait till phase 2. made a rod for own back.

It`s the game I didn`t want....I have backed Charlton before the start of the season to be promoted. If we do win at my least fav stadium (7th time lucky?), I think it will be a season too soon,as I think Jack Ross needs another year(he has done a cracking job imo), now that he knows what is required. If we don`t I think we will be a cracking bet to win it next season.

Report grayhawk May 23, 2019 4:12 PM BST
Strange how opinion can differ 37+73 ...after backing us to win it this year i won't fancy us next year

You would think someone would come in for McGeady next year and we'll be only too keen to get one of the biggest earners off the books...Cattermoles wages could be a millstone around our neck for the next few years in the unlikely occurrence of him tearing up his contract cos no other team's gonna offer to pay the wages he's on.
Report morpteh mackem May 23, 2019 4:20 PM BST
i actually agree with 37 73, don't think promotion is be all and end all. we are miles away from being a champ side( paceless, lack of strikers )  and think if got promoted without investment of significant side ( or shrewd buying ) think could just mean returning to div 1.

There maybe a few still just about hanging on Donny!!  I don`t agree Gray....I think the crowds will stay if they can see a winning team being built for the future, being led by a manager who is just as ambitious as we are ......I think the seeds have been sown, with some positive press and tv coverage, 2 wembley appearances, record breaking support at a lower level, to attract young hungry players that can help us achieve a place back in the prem.
