Newcastle United has confirmed further plans for the club’s Carabao Cup celebrations, with the team set to have a bus parade before an event on the Town Moor.

Newcastle United would like to thank all partners for the comprehensive planning and hard work throughout the process, as well as the meetings with the Safety Advisory Group. Further supporter information will be confirmed following additional meetings this week.

Route of Celebration & Timings
The bus route is open to the general public to attend. The open top bus will leave St. James’ Park with timings to be shared in advance. The bus will make its way down Gallowgate, turning onto Percy Street before heading onto the B1318 towards Gosforth. The bus will stop at the Town Moor where the players will make their way onto the stage. The full bus route will be shown live on large screens at the Town Moor event.
Transport & Travel
Supporters are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and are advised to use public transport where possible. A number of road closures will be in operation on Saturday 29 March, on the following roads: (timings of closures to follow)

Newcastle United has issued important event information to ensure spectators enjoy this Saturday's open-top bus parade and open-air event safely.
The club's first team players and staff will be bringing the Carabao Cup trophy to the streets of Newcastle city centre on Saturday 29th March before a spectacular open-air event on the Town Moor.
The Magpies' historic Carabao Cup victory at Wembley earlier this month secured the club's first silverware since the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1969, and the club’s first domestic trophy for 70 years.
Those with tickets for the event at the Town Moor are encouraged to go directly to the Town Moor site, where the parade will be streamed live on large screens, rather than the parade route.
Newcastle United has worked closely with its city partners to organise the highly anticipated parade and event, with significant support from organisations including the Freemen of Newcastle, Newcastle City Council, the North East Combined Authority, NE1, Northumbria Police, North East Ambulance Service and Nexus.
As part of the event, primary partner Sela will end the celebrations with a spectacular show, whilst the Club’s delivery partner, InPost, will support throughout the day. .

THE PARADE
Newcastle United's first team players and staff will parade the Carabao Cup trophy from an open-top bus.
The parade convoy will depart from St. James' Park at approximately 4:30pm on Saturday before travelling past STACK and east along Gallowgate.
The convoy will turn left onto Percy Street, proceed past Haymarket and travel onto the Great North Road (B1318), before arriving at the event site at approximately 5pm.
The safety of all attendees is of paramount importance. Road closures and parking restrictions are in place accordingly, and the convoy will have a significant police and stewarding presence.
Spectators are asked to follow all instructions to ensure the safe passage of the vehicles, and to avoid climbing any structures or street furniture to avoid both injury and damage to infrastructure.

CARABAO CUP WINNERS EVENT
The parade will end at the site of a special Carabao Cup Winners event held by Newcastle United and organised in collaboration with city partners.
The event will be set around a large main stage on the Town Moor, adjacent to the Great North Road.
Supporters were previously asked to register their interest in attending, and those who did so will be issued a ticket via email ahead of the event.
Stewards in high-visibility clothing will be in attendance to provide event support.
CASHLESS EVENT
Food, drink and retail outlets at the Town Moor will accept card and contactless payments only. This is a cashless event.
PERMITTED / BANNED ITEMS
Please note that this is a family event. Supporters will be able to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Daysack-sized bags (roughly A4) will be allowed on site but will be subject to security checks.

Please note that due to planned aerial activity in relation to the emergency services, crowd management and run-of-show, drones and pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited at or around the event site between 9am and 10pm on Saturday. Event attendees are encouraged to walk to and from the event site where possible.

ACCESSIBILITY
Please note that there will be flashing lights from the stage production at the event and camera flashes during the event.
Spectators who are sensitive to bright or flashing lights should take appropriate precautions.
A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will be communicating audio from the Main Stage via on-site screens.
SAFEGUARDING
Newcastle United will have a visible stewarding presence across the Town Moor event site, supported by the club’s Safeguarding and Welfare team.
Along the parade, there will be designated safeguarding stewards, supported by a team of Newcastle City Council staff. Clear procedures for dealing with safeguarding issues are in place.
At the Town Moor, Newcastle United will deploy its own team of Wellbeing Officers whose role will be to manage any safeguarding issues, as well as hand out wristbands and provide general welfare advice and support. There will be three welfare tents on the site which will act as 'lost child' points and somewhere attendees can access general welfare support, including water and phone charging facilities.
Attendees with safeguarding concerns can also raise them with their nearest steward who will alert the Wellbeing team accordingly.
The club is also operating a 'child safety' wristband scheme on the day, designed to help event staff re-unite lost children with parents and carers should they become separated. Wristbands can be obtained from the Gate, Eldon Square, Haymarket, St Thomas' Church Haymarket, Monumnet Metro, Central Metro, Haymarket Bus Station, Greggs Gallowgate, Costa Gallowgate, Central Station and St James' Stack.

We are pleased to announce that our men's first team will travel to Singapore this summer as part of our pre-season preparations for 2025/26.
Eddie Howe and the squad will head to Southeast Asia to take part in Singapore's Festival of Football tournament, facing Premier League rivals Arsenal at the 55,000-capacity Singapore National Stadium.
Our match with the Gunners will take place on Sunday, 27th July, with kick-off time to be confirmed shortly.
Our trip, which will form part of an overseas tour this July and August, is our first time back in Singapore for 29 years.
Back in the summer of 1996, Kevin Keegan's Entertainers wowed a 50,000 crowd at the old National Stadium with a 5-0 win over Singapore's 'S-League All Stars'. New world-record signing Alan Shearer was even presented to the crowd before kick-off.
'THE RIGHT CHALLENGES'
"Pre-season is all about setting the right challenges to ensure we are ready for the new season," said Eddie Howe. "So we're pleased to be playing against high-calibre opposition in an iconic stadium.
"Having Singapore as part of our pre-season will provide a special experience for supporters in Asia, and we're looking forward to seeing them and playing in front of them in July."
'AN EXCITING MARKET'
Meanwhile, Peter Silverstone, Chief Commercial Officer at Newcastle United, outlined the opportunities for the club to make an impression in the region.
"This will be one of the standout pre-season matches taking place anywhere in Asia this summer," Silverstone said.
"The National Stadium in Singapore is a magnificent setting and we're expecting a packed stadium given the love for the Premier League and for both clubs that exists across Asia.
"On the pitch, the team will have access to elite facilities, while off the pitch we have another wonderful opportunity to meet and engage with our supporters and partners in an exciting market.
"We want to thank the tour promoter TEG and the Singapore Tourism Board for inviting the club to be part of the Festival of Football."

The redevelopment proposals look to build upon the significant work we've carried out at our Darsley Park site in recent years, helping to deliver elite performance facilities for our players and staff.
Planning permission has been submitted for 1,350 square metres of necessary new-build accommodation, focusing on new office and meeting space and additional support facilities.
In turn, the existing building will be reconfigured to provide further treatment spaces and staff support areas, alongside improved front of house facilities and an enlarged players' lounge.
The site is currently occupied by 140 personnel. Staff and visitor numbers to the site will remain unchanged following the extension.
The proposal improves space planning, and provides enhanced facilities by enabling the removal of low quality temporary buildings.
The site area includes revised car parking to the north and west perimeter of the extension, with pedestrian access into the office, media and storage spaces.
Accessible parking spaces have been provided along the north of the extension in close proximity to the main entrance.

What an eventful 2nd half that was. Personally I thought the ref got all the penalty decisions correct however; he bottled the decision not to send the Brighton player off on the 55 minute mark; I thought that could have been a red card in itself and he never even got booked. Just watched the pre match interview and found it very interesting. A couple of players have had issues this week with injuries but Eddie keeping his cards close to his chest wouldn't say who ? Personally I would give Jacob Murphy a rest and Play Gordon on the left and Barnes on the right; strange time to kick off on Sunday 12.00.

The gesture has been organised by the club to thank fans for their support - which has seen St. James’ Park sell out throughout the season - while ensuring that the crowd is in full voice for the early kick-off as the Magpies battle for UEFA Champions League qualification.
Fans should claim their complimentary drinks token when passing through the turnstiles between 10am-11am on Sunday, with the voucher remaining valid until 11:30am.

The gesture has been organised by the club to thank fans for their support - which has seen St. James’ Park sell out throughout the season - while ensuring that the crowd is in full voice for the early kick-off as the Magpies battle for UEFA Champions League qualification.
Fans should claim their complimentary drinks token when passing through the turnstiles between 10am-11am on Sunday, with the voucher remaining valid until 11:30am.
Tokens can then be redeemed for a free pint/bottle of beer or cider, or a bottled soft drink - available across the concourse, Platinum Club and Bar 1892.
Newcastle United’s CEO, Darren Eales, commented: “We greatly appreciate the lengths that fans have gone to this season, travelling to every corner of the country to back the club, so we’re pleased to offer a token of appreciation for their loyalty and support this weekend.
