Haven't been impressed with Colombia so far with or without Rodriguez, Maguire to score/England to win 18/1 for anyone interested, came close a couple of times already from set pieces, pen award 13/8. Colombia a good price on the outrights or to make the final compared to England and considering the draw.
Not much to separate them as England are largely unproven. As said, nearly all ko games have been competitive so the draw, extra time and pens have to come into play. The 2 teams through in this half of the draw (Russia and Croatia) have also had to go to extra time and pens so if someone else can get a win in normal time they should surely gain an edge. |

Quintero and James the most creative pairing I've seen in this WC. Thought the Japanese made the Belgiums look cumbersome. Columbia just as comfortable on the ball.

Prices should be much closer than what they are. I hope I am wrong and England win comfortably but I genuinely see this as a 50/50. All this talk of our pathway to the final is very premature. Even if we get through are we that much better than Switzerland? I think that's another close call.

Yes indeed an awful load of waffle spouted by the media and pundits about England at the moment, we have done absolutely nothing yet tonight is the first make or break test, most of the last 16 games have been very competitive and i think this too will be the same , btts to score is my pick but Colombia at 3s and 10-3 is a big price

The one thing you do have is a good set up for set pieces, which is becoming more important as the tournament goes on. I wouldn't be surprised if England go all the way and win it, equally it wouldn't surprise me if you have too many players who don't perform tonight and blow a great chance.

Up to now we have played 2 pub teams and a reserve team and all have scored against us .So Columbia must be confident of at least scoring 1.You could never back an England clean sheet with any confidence at all .

Tunisia were gifted an incredibly soft penalty, Panama didn't score until we were 6-0 up (and maybe regretting being top on goal difference) and Belgium reserves v England reserves in a game both didn't really want to win is hardly relevant to this game. Of course we may not keep a clean sheet because Colombia are a decent side but the reasoning is a bit skewed.
