Arsenal will get it, Liverpool have looked awful recently.
|
By:
They may have looked awful, but West Ham away, and Middlesbrough home, it doesn't get much better than that. Most Liverpool's recent struggles have been at home. West Ham also aren't typically a bus park side.

west ham away is a horror game for liverpool
|
By:
stoke away is more of a horror game for Arsenal. If they win that then I can see pool dropping points alright but it's a big if.
|
By:
i agree , stoke away will decide the whole thing
puel is wenger s mate but hughes certainly isnt so they would love to cost arsenal top 4 trouble is i think most of us arsenal fans will be quite happy with missing out aswell |
By:
West Ham have got something out of their last 5 premier league games, and a 1-0 win over the spuds in the last game that they played so they like to spoil a party and are not thinking about the beach just yet.
|
By:
I hope I'm wrong but I don't think we will make it nor do I think we particularly deserve to we've been pathetic since Xmas.No one to blame but ourselves if we fail.
|
By:
Arse win the FA Cup and finish fourth....the nightmare continues.
|
By:
If the same West Ham team turns up that played Spurs last week , then they could easy beat Liverpool.
Liverpool missing Mane badly , seem to lose their threat without him if it goes to the last day Arsenal will beat Everton , Everton's jollys started about a month ago |
By:
some bot just went mental and loads of Arsenal to lay at 2 and even lower; still a good arb at the 2.98 now available and an over 200% lay book for 2 possible places
|
By:
Mourinho says winning Europa has more honour than finishing fourth
|
By:
why would anything be going mental in laying arsenal at 2 (evens) they are around 5/2 for 4th ?
|
By:
no someone was trying to back at 2 hence it was available to gleeful layers such as myself to lay at that price
|
By:
ah sry just seen your other thread, so someone wanted to back arsenal at evens for top 4 , unless its jurgen klopp theyve dealt the wrong market then
|
By:
4th in the EPL a fantastic achievement from every angle - all 360 of them .
when did Leeds or Sheff Wed eg finish in the top 4 ? ask the fans of West Brom,Ipswich,Birmingham ,Sunderland or Stoke . Arsenal fans sound the type who cry thier eyes out when they get bought a Porsche because they wanted a Ferrari - they need to get real ffs |
By:
Arsene should feel proud to see his warriors battle from out of no where to grab a 4th spot
|
By:
this is the way I see it.
Arsenal games 1 stokelona away(stoke will play their under 16 babies)=3 points for Arsenal. 2 Sunderland home(sunderland are already on the beach)=3 points for Arsenal 3 Everton home(if arsenal cant score ,everton will score against themselves to stop the pool .7-0 arsenal + 3 points) Liverpool games. 1 West Ham Away.(west ham to play their strongest team and get a draw) 2 Middles-bore,0-0 dead rubber game because Liverpool know that its Everton that are playing arsenal at the same time, So its Arsenal for top 4. |
By:
You all realize that on the 23 may 1989 West ham went down to the old second division after a 5-1 hammering by a team called Liverpool. There is an old score to settle, but the shoe is on the other foot, its Liverpool who need the points.
Old West ham fans will not forget that day.ITS PAY BACK TIME. |
By:
they don't harbour a grudge then >?
|
By:
Lawro has liverpool ONLY drawing against the hammers and arsenal winning away against stoke...
So even he doesn't hold much hope. |
By:
West Ham seem to be getting overrated to me. They have been awful this season, 1 win against Spurs who they always turn up for doesn't change that. I'm not sure I've seen any team get rolled as much as them all season.
|
By:
yes,its an exciting end to the season, but the fact that West HAM expected to play their strongest team tells a little story, and the situation is not just about finishing in the top 4 for Liverpool or Arsenal,it also means the club that succeeds get better players in the transfer market for next season and millions of pounds for playing in the champions league.
I would say that both sets of players at Liverpool and Arsenal would be on big big money to get top 4.if fact I will go further and say mindboggling money for that forth place. |
By:
While it's true to an extent, it's overplayed in the media the importance of getting CL to attract top players. It's more important the image of the club (ie. going long periods not in CL etc.). Neither Liverpool or Arsenal will be shopping at the top end of the market regardless of making CL, it might give them marginally more money to spend, and in the case of Arsenal specifically might slightly affect who they can attract, but it's not as important as made out.
The financial impact of it is going down and down as the Premier League money grows, albeit I imagine the £50m or so making the group stages is worth means more to these clubs than say Man Utd (though it's only about £30m in reality as if they aren't in CL, they will be in EL instead). |
By:
in all honesty i would say it's more about the negative aspects it will have on your rival who misses out i.e. condemning them to the constant diet of thurs/sun cobblers for a kick off rather any real positive benefit of being in the CL. our teams are struggling even to mix it with the 2nd division CL clubs these days the likes of dortmund and PSG let alone the real heavyweights

By:
liverpool will beat west ham and arsenal will not beat stoke , simples its liverppols destiny to make top 4
|
By:
Whoever is Top 4 at 6pm Sunday surely will finish there.
|
By:
Liverpool have to beat West Ham now
|
By:
Liverpool 1.65 to beat West ham
1.63 for Top 4 |
By:
Very tempting to back WH at 5/1, they beat a better team last week.
|
By:
yep
|
By:
If Liverpool drop points today, Arsenal will almost certainly do it. Sunderland are awful and Everton look ready for summer hols.
|
By:
0-4 with 10 to go for liverpool just need to beat middlesborough at home but who knows?
|
By:
Surely it is over , Boro manager needed a result to stay alive at Chelsea and basically settled for 2 or 3-0 from the start
