You have scored 2/4, you got great squad and it's a gift wrong...better luck next time

mover - while not disagreeing, how's about we do that boring thing where we do a combined City/Liverpool team. Can include all 7 subs.

my go (4-3-2-1)
Karius Clyne - Matip - Kompany - Milner Henderson - Fernandinho - Lallana Coutinho - De Bruyne Aguero (subs: Bravo; Otamendi; Gundogan; Wijnaldum; Silva; Firmino; Sturridge Back 5 mostly picked on the fact that City's defence seems pretty poor really. In fact, probably Otamendi should be in for Kompany seeing as he's a crock. Becomes a bit more competitive when picking the front 6. Mad that Mané is maybe being left out too. |

Spurs are going to win the League. Liverpool will finish second, Chelsea third.

I wonder if Liverpool burn out around March and get single-figure points from their last ten games,
the genius Messiah Klopp may need to answer a few questions? |
By:
Jed must be on pills.
|
By:
Arsenal Boro palace Bournemouth Southampton Burnley six home fixtures from March till may
Can see possibly more than 9 points there not to mention any picked up away But who knows maybe he will have lots of questions to ask |
By:
Liverpool definitely look the best price by a mile to me.
Their fixtures are by far the kindest, and they just look the best team to me. Liverpool's biggest weakness is strength in depth if they get a few injuries, but only really City have this in abundance, because Chelsea seem like they would be pretty screwed if Hazard/Costa got injured too. |
By:
And I say that as a Man Utd fan, so no bias from me.
|
By:
Well I have a few quid on the Scousers at 9s so I don't know whether to laugh or cry , seriously though I think Chelsea and the Scousers have a big advantage with no European games , city I think may concentrate more on the champions league
|
By:
Chelsea and City have the deeper squads with more quality off the bench.
Rotation here and there and its no problem for them. Chelsea\City have won the league twice whilst playing Europe...no matter how far they went. |
By:
No that's not true in citys case when they won the league in 2014 they went out last 16 CL and 2012 when they won it on goal difference they went out in the league stage, the further you go in Europe the harder it gets
|
By:
City's squad is very strong - their 2nd choice 11 would easily be top 6 - yaya is like a new signing - Chelsea very reliant on Hazard and Costa
|
By:
no matter how far they went.

@toffee...re: Yaya....Exactly! FFS

It's all about momentum, at the moment Chelsea and L'pool have it and neither are in Europe. Liverpool have played all the top sides away apart from the two Manchester sides. Looking at it again though the better sides that take L'pool on leave space whilst the teams that get players behind the ball and defend out have taken the points
|
By:
Based on so far, City will struggle to win many big games. Their defending is abysmal.
Liverpool have dominated virtually every game they have played and played the toughest fixture list of any of the contenders. |
By:
they will win
