I wondered when the racist apologist fans would start some threads.  you are right, atkins, no-one died so let's just ignore what happened Plain

Can't work you out here Dr. The opening post suggests one thing, the Fox and Sky news post, the opposite.

Got to agree with the Dr the club will do everything to get to the bottom of this and punish the offenders, meanwhile we have seen the racist, rape, abuse and torture of 1400 white schoolgirls in one town in the UK and nobody has been punished and no videos have come to light?

I'm not aware of anyone here saying there is.
The point being it's got fck all to do with a set of brainless w@nks pushing people off a train because of their colour

The two things are totally unconnected. It's cowardly and plain stupid to pretend otherwise.
In the great scheme of things what happened to those girls is infinitely worse. That doesn't mean you don't report this, not does it mean you trivialise the incident in Paris.

of all the racist incidents occurring everyday all over the world the BBC (and other media) decided to cover a bloke racially abused on a Paris train. Without meaning to belittle the incident...you couldn't make it up!

Why would they be plastic if its the same attitude and fans from the 60's. Again make your mind up dear boy.

Bordering on as idiotic as the racists themselves.  What plastic means, I have no idea, but if it's aimed at recently acquired fans of Chelsea then I'm not sure why the length of their support matters.  One day or one century makes no difference, if you come out with racist nonsense, you're a total moron.

As sj says, this has been going on for years and the fact that they support Chelsea isn't particularly relevant, save for to put events into context.  If these pricklords supported Burton Albion, would it make any difference?

This article has been on the BBC television news pages for at least 2 days.

I haven't seen the victim invited on to BBC television yet.

The assailant is black.

Yet the BBC quickly whisked in a black footballer who used to play for Chelsea, and he got at least a 5 minute interview on lunchtime news.

The bloke was gently pushed off the train, not even hard enough to make him fall over.

Scotland Yard have said they will help track down the Chelsea supporters.

Lucky it wasn't an England match and they were draped in St George flags, or they would be labelled as EDL thugs.

I wonder if the victim in Peterborough has had a call or a visit from  Scotland Yard?

You might need to ask someone who goes to games I realise that but whenever you have an answer.

BBC news just covered the story. They played the audio of a fan, Mitchell McCoy, who rang LBC to deny the incident was racist:

The fans chanted "Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea" while one of them pushed the man off the train as he tried to board. They then started to chant "we're racist and that's the way we like it".

LBC's Tom Swarbrick spoke to Mitchell McCoy, a fan who was on the carriage at the time of the incident, who claims that the incident was not racist.

This is what Mitchell had to say on twitter before he set his account to private:
