I think this weekend The Championship is where we could make some money. If anybody has any inside or local info it would be greatly appreciated.

I also fancy Gillingham to bounce back and win at home.

My bets for the weekend are as follows:

BRISTOL ROVERS to win at home (2/2) v Wigan (lost all away games) at 21/20.

STOCKPORT to win at Crawley at 9/10 (Crawley lost two on the bounce- Stockport no losses and 3/4 wins)

READING to win at home v Orient at 11/10. (Reading 2/2 at home Orient lost all 4 games.) Patent and Treble with 365.

In the Championship i like two home wins for Blackburn at Evens and Derby at 13/10 - Two singles and a double with 365.

If you fanciy a riskier bet Ive backed an away day Treble and Patent for teams in form against fancied teams who have made a poor start and they are :

LINCOLN at 23/10, HUDDERSFIELD at 9/4 and ChARLTON at 21/20.

i think Doncaster will win at Harrogate on thursday evening. i have taken 3/4 with 365.

5/6 on here.

Harrogate have lost both home games  without scoring a goal so far and donny are top of the tree with 4 wins out of 5.

hopefully will give us a good start to the betting weekend

Stick to laying Wrexham for a profit

Donny were 1.7 to win this and Harrogate were off to a poor start this season so the Dragon's bet was logical.
Donny's performance tonight was lacklustre, they look scrappy for a team leading the division.
I noticed there was a bit of 13 still available on Notts. Co to win this division so I matched it. I think their price should be nearer 8 or 9 from what I've seen so far.

yes doncaster performance was very disappointing- 70per cent possesion had more shots on and off target than Harrogate with 37 touches in the box compared to Harrogates 14.

stokes - fair play to you mate, it's an excellent hobby to undertake if you have the time, resources and an understanding missus I got up to 77 I believe before I knocked it on the head... geography coupled with a lack of enthusiasm for the driving did for me.  It was only in the mid 90s that I thought I'd give the 92 a go, I had done about 40 grounds by then... another issue was different teams being promoted from the Conference as it was back then, had a quick tally up and have visited 12 National League grounds.  It's a good way to see the country and for me have some decent ale, the places I wish I had got to are Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham and Carlisle, twice over a couple of seasons I as due to visit Carlisle and couldn't be bothered with the drive, it was then I effectively through the towel in, last ground being Macclesfield in 2019 who also have dropped out the League!  Keep us updated on your travels mate...

My venture in to yankee land ended with 5 attempts and a loss of 142 points that hair brained scheme now shelved... done an early doors dub tomorrow Burnley and Wimbledon paying 10/1, cheers...

Morning all Derby fan here. Confused by the price for us today 2.38 have won last 9 at pride park in all comps playing bottom I know very early. Expected about 2.0 bookies saying Cardiff slightly better. Saying that we have history in losing these kind of games including losing to Sunderland years ago to Dave Roy Keane from being sacked. We are on the back of a excellent performance beating Bristol City 3 nil last time out although we were under the cosh for 20 minutes or so until we scored. Early days with our new Swedish keeper who is 6 foot 6 and spreads himself like Peter Schmichael although what I've seen I'm not fully convinced coming out for crosses. Added to this we added Nat Phillips from Liverpool and Marcus Harness from Ipswich. Will be a lively atmosphere with the Welsh boys in town and approximately 30000 at pride park.Just hope the rams don't freeze under pressure as a win today will give them breathing space early from the relegation places.

Sportsbook going Kobee Mainoo to commit a foul at 2.0 £20 max he's committed at least 1 every game this season might have few quid on at 1.79 on the exchange as well.

Strange prices on Derby and Blackburn. What do the bookies know?

I went to Boro's game at Cardiff on Aug 31st and I thought based on that game Cardiff were a just under mid table side. Boro were well understrength though with most of the defence out injured and Cardiff failed to score.

I saw Derby v Boro on Sky and it was a very one sided game - somehow Boro managed to contrive to lose it, but I think the stats were 19-3 goals attempts in Boro's favour.


Based on those two games I would say Cardiff are a slightly better team. Cardiff also seem to struggle very badly at home and yes Derby do well at home, but its cancels itself out because Cardiff seem to gain most of their points away. Odds for this game look spot on to me.

In the Championship Burnley's odds look big @ Leeds - Burnley seems priced up as a non top 6 side and they must be a top 6 side.

Getting closer and closer. It’s a recur theme this year. Plymouth v Sunderland, one before that and last night Stoke lost me big wins but still managed to get ahead nicely small for the night.

Quite a lot I like today in Championship and also HOME teams in League One.

Notts Co have lost a key player Jodi Jones out to a fractured tibia sustained in the Gillingham game, The Dragon. It might explain the unexpected result last Saturday.

thanks foinavon - yes last 2 results not so good compared to their excellent start to the season - the key thing though is carlilses form which is 5 losses in 6 and 6 losses out of 8 games.

theitr home form is poor also with 3 losses out of 4 to teams lower than notts co in the league. they also leak goals with 18 conceded already. notts score for fun with 17 goals already. i was surprised by the 7/5 price on NC and i am hoping its not too good to be true

I hope you are right too The Dragon as I've backed them to do well this season. Carlisle's defence is much leakier than Morecambe's so scoring should be easier.
