Could be a bit early in the season to be drawing any solid conclusions for my taste, but I might have a go on two confrence teams.
TORQUAY play away at Dartford. Dartford finished 22ns last season and there isn't much to suggest that they'll have a much better time this time round. Torquays only away game so far has been a loss, but that's been to a strong Gateshead team who narrowly missed out on promotion last year. At 11/10 I don't see Dartford posing much threat. I backed WREXHAM on the first day of the season and they duly did the business. They play away to Alfreton who have had a hard start to the season, losing all 3 and conceding 7. 23/20 seems a tad generous based on what we've seen so far - though thats admittedly a small amount of action. For some additional interest I'm going to be backing Carlisles on-loan striker JACK MARRIOT to score first at 7/1 against Southend. After a shocker of a performance losing 3-1 to Wycombe we pretty much dominated against Cheltenham midweek and were extremely unlucky to not grab the win. Marriot was a constant threat and should've had opened the scoring when 1 on 1 with the keeper. We're still a player or two short of a consistent squad imo but if we play like Cheltenham we've got a strong chance on saturday and I'll be backing Marriot to score first for the next few games. |

I'm an Ipswich fan and don't enjoy posting this but the following bet is worth a dabble:
Norwich -1 handicap 4/1 McCarthy will line up with a defensive side as he always done. He has just loaned out our only creative midfielder. I expect Norwich to grind us down and eventually get the breakthrough. They'll then double up on the break. I wish I could place a bet on Mings to be sent off. FWIW I hope i'm wrong and we fecking smash the arrogant ****s. |
