Bayern not looking good
|
By:
Looks good but two grand on at skybet, best of luck with that.
|
By:
They hardly went full on the other day in the Super Cup game the other day but Dortmund will not finish above them in the league especially with the expected departures of Mats Hummels and maybe Marco Reus to come. The last 2 years they have finished 20 or more points behind Bayern!
Will have to contact them shortly to see if they will allow me to do it! |
By:
Even though your a Gooner good luck if do get on !
|
By:
I just can't see it losing and want something to follow throughout the season!
|
By:
as long as u can afford it without crying if it loses, that's a good bet I think and I wish you luck
|
By:
Thanks mate. Sky Bet seem to be ok with it!
|

As the odds suggest, bet 2 has the higher likliehood of failure.
What with Arsenal only 4th last season, and United likely to be much improved this season, and with no European distractions....you never know. You should finish top 4 though, Scousers 5th |
By:
Not bad odds on Arsenal to finish top four. Chelsea and Man City are pretty much guaranteed to finish top 4 again.
Man United have a terrible defence and will concede goals with Robin Van Persie likely to pick up injuries throughout the season as he ages. Arsenal look strong this year and Sanchez will prove to be a fantastic signing, you get the feeling he will be replicating his form from Chile at Arsenal and will bring the best out of all the players around him. Also rumoured to be signing that Greek defender who is a beast. |

Great reply Lemmiwinks... you basically just reinforced everything that I have been thinking in my mind and said in my previous post. 1/2 is an absolute gift, I was extremely shocked when I first saw that price! It's a solid bet and will make the season extremely exciting!
|
By:
Lol Lemmiwinks, does RVP age faster than others? Finish the season as a pensioner
|
By:
Just look at his hair!
|
By:
£2k on Chelsea to win the league returns £6k
Just saying |
By:
Their defence is awfully weak.
RB Rafael CB Jones CB Smalling LB Shaw They will get torn apart by any attack! |
By:
Chelsea's odds for them to win the league though are correct and I'm not confident about that at all. It is very open!

:D His body is made of glass!!!!
From memory I can only think of 1/2 seasons where has gone through without an injury lasting more than 5/6 weeks. Given that he's their lynch pin player, that doesn't bode well for them. I don't think Man United have bought well. Maybe Fellaini will prove that he's worth the money this season, but however good a prospect Ander Herrera is, he's not going to change that midfield by himself. Mata may be utilized better by Van Gaal but if he plans on playing Antonio and Ashley Young as wing backs with the central defenders they have available to them then Premiership league teams will be creating chances not to mention the fear factor of playing Man United has undoubtedly gone now. Spurs and Everton won't have the strength in depth to challenge but you can see Everton pushing close to top 4. Liverpool losing Suarez is a huge blow no matter how much they are pretending it isn't. He bought the best out of Sturridge and other team players, they have bought well for sure and have more depth but too many players need to settle in the Premiership. The Serbian striker is a good signing but you can't gaurantee that he'll hit the ground running. Arsenal have the luxury of bedding in their new signings as they still have the backbone of the team who served them so well last season and now with Sanchez that takes so much pressure of Ozil who we may see the absolute best of now. |

You are completely spot on with absolutely everything you have just said! I don't understand why there is so much hype over Van Gaal at all. He subbed a keeper for another keeper before a penalty shootout at the world cup. That is hardly rocket science and is the common thing to do if you have a better shot stopper on the bench. He is no Sir Alex Ferguson, as much as I hate him he was a great manager and as soon as he left the only way was down for future managers and the club as a whole! They don't really have any strength in depth either when you really look at it deeply. Just pretty average. I'm not saying Arsenal are world beaters but they look and seem to be a lot stronger than Man United and definitely Liverpool who without Suarez have lost nearly half their goals so they will have to find where them goals will come from now. They concede so often that if they don't score as many goals as they did last season then they will definitely struggle. Spurs and Everton have their moments and are excellent on their day but they have no staying power and either come back to Arsenal in the end or just get completely blown away! Arsene Wenger will be looking at challenging for the title not just a top 4 finish. That is a minimum expectation! Alexis Sanchez will definitely provide an X factor and with him and Walcott bombing down the wings or penetrating through the middle and feeding the prolific Olivier Giroud we are set up very well. not forgetting the creativity of Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla. Aaron Ramsey is also looking even better than last season! I'm happy with the David Ospina signing... he is a very solid signing and I'm really hoping he becomes our Number 1 before long as I don't really trust Szczesny much! Per and Kos are a rock solid centre back partnership and Gibbs and Monreal are pretty good left backs who both have different qualities that can be utilized against different opposition! Debuchy seems to fit in well and Chambers is an exciting young prospect. I want us to sign another decent center back though and also a defensive midfielder or a creative striker would be great but I'm happy with what we have now!

If you had accompanied me to Ashton Gate on Tues to see Bristol City v Oxford you might have reconsidered bet 4!!
Seriously though, would agree that the Arsenal bet is the only risky one, for reasons mentioned above. Good luck with it - think you will be OK |
By:
That is the League Cup for you though, it's an absolute shambles of a competition and not even some lower league teams take it seriously! There will be mediocre results and performances from them and Derby I'm sure but over a 46 game season with the squads both teams have got I can't see them outside the top half of their respective leagues. In Arsene I Trust!
|
By:
Absolutely. A lot of second stringers played on Tuesday. I'm just peed off as I listened to the Manager saying he was serious about winning and bet accordingly. There is no way City will finish outside the top half this season.
|
By:
Might aswell put Djokovic to win the first round of the US Open in there.
|

How about this?
Czech league Sparta Prague @ 1.44 Belgian league Anderlecht @ 1.72 German league Bayern @ 1.16 French league PSG @ 1.16 Gives you around 11/4 on Betfair |
By:
2,000 3-1 5-1 bets you would make much more profile even if you just guess 2,000 bets

I like that bet Cruso but I don't trust Anderlecht at all and the Czech league can be a bit weird at times also. Not that knowledegable about them leagues. At least with these ones I'm sure I want to go with them in my own mind!
I tend not to listen to what managers and people at the clubs say that much unless it is especially relevant. It's always disappointing when your team play **** though lol! Tennis betting has done me over too many times so I will leave that out! |
By:
If you think our defence is going to be:
RB Rafael CB Jones CB Smalling LB Shaw Then you should self exclude yourself from every betting site asap! LVG favours wing backs so will be something along the lines of Valencia-Smalling-Jones-Evans-Shaw if all fit... You're right though, either way our defence is sh1te! |
By:
Looks an absolute cert to me.
Bayern will walk it. Arsenal are always top 4. Derby will probably make the play offs, never mind top half. Bristol City looked very good at Sheffield utd last week and i'd have them finishing top 3-4 under Cotterill |
By:
well it will probably win. arsenal the only slight possibility of losing.
surprised you can get it on though, ive just put it in to mine and max stake was £200. how much money have you lost to them over the years?? |
By:
One of those four could find a way
of coming unstuck. Try Chelsea or ManC to win the Premier League at around 4/6, would be my idea of a gift. |
By:
dortmund put almost their reserves out for the super cup game.
they put the same side out v us. only mikhatarian and the 2 fullbacks were regulars v us...not sure which goalie played (dont reate their 1st choice either way) whetehr immoble or ramos is 1st choice is guess work no hummels or subotic no gundogan and bender didnt start. imo if dortmund stay fit they win the league because their system is far superior to guardiolas... |
By:
I think Bristol City are likely to get promotion at the very least.I have been following their fortunes for the last couple of seasons, and they have improved immensely with good signings as well. They were a bit unlucky last season, dropped a lot of points when playing ok,but didn't see games out.JET looked a player who should be playing at championship level,so that is a very safe bet.
I will be backing them a lot this season and playing draw/no bet at times as well.I think they can take this division by storm, only my opinion of course. |
By:
not worth it , one of those could cause you heartache..
|
By:
goner
I don't understand why there is so much hype over Van Gaal at all. not a united fan at all but this man is the bizz nizz, utd top 4 must be bet of the season imo |

This one is better than the Bayern one
F1 Constructors Champs w/o Merc Red Bull 1/6 |
By:
I think I would put in burnley to get relegated instead of Bayern munich...
better odds and you have 3 places going for you rather than one... but its still a fair bet though |
By:
The Red Bull bet is immense to be honest but I just have absolutely zero passion in Formula 1 and the bet is as much for entertainment as it is for a gamble. Burnley more than likely will go down but a few wins here and there and any team can survive really! I fancy West Ham to struggle badly and they are a team I was considering to do a bottom half finish but I just prefer this one!
|
By:
I just placed the bet... will post the screenshot later guys when it gets approval!
Good luck to everyone this season |
By:
I think we can write off Man Uniteds chances of getting into the top 4 if that is the strength of their squad on todays showing!
