Came across some funny and entertaining people on here, as well as the occasional nut.

However my gambling has gone a little out of control so i've self excluded from all the bookmakers I can think of for 5 years.

I look forward to the abuse Laugh

The biggest hurdle is admitting it, then taking action. Well done for realising it, you've done absolutely the right thing to stop yourself. Don't give in to temptation, don't walk into a shop in the town and place a bet, get away and stay away. You'll be a winner that way Cool

I knew someone that got addicted and got to the point where he also said ''goodbye, all'' but meant it in a different way, so you've done the correct thing.

Maybe one or two others on here need to follow the OP's example, and accept gambling has got the better of them *looks in MONEY TREE's direction* Plain

If your account is inactive for a period of two (2) years, any funds that remain in your Australian wallet will be sent to the Tasmanian Department of Treasury and Finance as unclaimed monies. It is therefore important that you contact our Helpdesk to organise the withdrawal of any funds. You can claim back your unclaimed monies from the Department of Treasury and Finance by emailing them at unclaimed.monies@treasury.tas.gov.au and completing their claim process.

The first 2-3 weeks will be easy, you will feel calmer, glad to get rid of the high's and low's of gambling, but you will start to get itchy again, the World Cup will be a tester for you........

Did I disappoint you or let you down?
Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown?
'Cause I saw the end before we'd begun,
Yes I saw you were blinded and I knew I had won.
So I took what's mine by eternal right.
Took your soul out into the night.
It may be over but it won't stop there,
I am here for you if you'd only care.
You touched my heart you touched my soul.
You changed my life and all my goals.
And love is blind and that I knew when,
My heart was blinded by you.
I've kissed your lips and held your hand.
Shared your dreams and shared your bed.
I know you well, I know your smell.
I've been addicted to you.

Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.

Nothing to stop you strolling into your local bookies and playing FOBT's though.

Perhaps you should move to  a country where gambling is banned. I hear Saudi Arabia is nice.

Good luck.  If the temptation gets too much, just pop back on the forum to see what gambling does the majority of people.  Should set you back on the straight and narrow after reading some of the complete bollocks posted on here.
