Of course it's possible. Just like Newcastle could win at Anfield. Manchester City are miles away from playing well at the moment with a few injury problems to boot.

both had long hard seasons..villa can now relax after winning Saturday and for west ham that's us done after beating spurs again..

City are 1.09 to win the league, but nobody is interested because all the big hitters are gone to bed broke.and it will be worse in the morning when they wake up with no bank.

Both villa and west ham will now be told that City have a lot of players that are going out on loan next season, and will be asked if they are interested .nudge nudge say no more,"we can talk about it after the match when your team comes to play us."

There have been numerous times over the past few years when City have been on a roll and teams from the bottom half of the league (and plenty from the top half) have just been cannon fodder at the Etihad. This isn't one of those times. They'll probably beat Villa and West Ham but I doubt it'll be a stroll in the park.
Report lurka May 6, 2014 12:01 AM BST
I wouldn't be surprised if city drop points, can't see them losing tho

Report Darlo Bantam May 6, 2014 12:08 AM BST
Liverpool seem spent to me. If Man City beat Villa, then they've almost certainly won the league, even if they lose to West Ham.
Report Cork Langer May 6, 2014 12:44 AM BST
They have as much chance of winning as we would of scoring three goals in ten minutes against Pool to salvage a point, oh wait a minute, forget that....!
Report Froggitt May 6, 2014 10:09 AM BST
I would put money that villas attack will be calum robinson and Jordan bowery, and jed steer gets a game in goal. at least I hope hat what they do.

MAN CITY JUST NEED AT MINIMUM 1 DRAW AND 1 WIN FROM THEIR LAST 2 GAMES TO BE CHAMPIONS

MAN CITY HAVE ONLY LOST 1 HOME GAME THIS SEASON AND THAT WAS TO CHELSEA

Report Coachbuster May 6, 2014 12:41 PM BST
in these situations form should go out of the window

mental stress plays a bigger part

have you guys not seen the results in la liga of late ?

Report Coachbuster May 6, 2014 12:42 PM BST
villa more than capable - and not because villa are any good ,having said that though the pressure is off city quite a bit now -so it shouldn't be such an ordeal
Report Biscuit1979 May 6, 2014 12:44 PM BST
City lost at home to Wigan, almost lost at home to Sunderland and 2 years ago were about 4 minutes away from losing at home to QPR and blowing the league so of course there's a chance.

Realistically though, they've been given a lifeline over the past 10 days and aren't going to blow it.
Report The Special One™ May 6, 2014 12:49 PM BST

SO BASICALLY VIILA AND WEST HAM PLAYED RUBBISH ALL SEASON HENCE NEAR THE END OF THE SEASON THEY JUST FOUGHT OFF RELEGATION, SO NOW THEY DECIDE TO UP THEIR GAME AGAINST CITY???

IF THEY PLAYED WITH SUCH COMMITMENT AND DETERMINATION THROUGHOUT THIS SEASON AS THEY ARE ABOUT TO AGAINST CITY THEN WOULDN'T THEY HAVE NOW FINISHED IN A MORE RESPECTABLE POSITION AND EVEN IN THE TOP 10 AND MAYBE WOULD HAVE EVEN HAD A GOOD RUN IN THE FA OR LEAGUE CUP AND EVEN WON IT?

ANY CLUB THAT ONLY DECIDES TO UP THEIR GAME IN THE LAST 2 GAMES OF THE SEASON SHOULD BE RELEGATED NEXT SEASON LaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

Report metaphor May 6, 2014 12:52 PM BST
if city go for it with a high tempo attack they will win both games by quite a few goals

having said that city are not what you call ruthless. they are the type of team who can shoot themselves in the foot. if they go out an play lethargically then anything is possible.
Report Do wah Diddy May 6, 2014 1:04 PM BST
CITY HAVE SLIPPED UP MANY TIMES THIS SEASON WHEN THEY SHOULD HAVE WON.THEY KNOW IT AND DEF WILL WIN BOTH GAMES .THERE WILL BE NO SLIP UPS .THEIR ON A MISSION AND WILL WIN BOTH GAMES.THEY KNOW THEY HAVE SLIPPED UP BEFORE AND WILL NOT SLIP UP AGAIN THIS SEASON SIX POINTS GUARENTEED FROM LAST TWO GAMES .NO MATTER IF OTHER TEAMS LOSE ALL THEIR GAMES
Report Do wah Diddy May 6, 2014 1:07 PM BST

Going by their recent away form, i'd fancy 11 betfair forumites to beat Newcastle
Report loui May 6, 2014 10:32 PM BST
city felt the heat when playing qpr 2 yrs back, i dont know how they bailed out of that one, they played awful that day, and are,nt in their best form right now. they should stroll both games but pressure will kick in at some point
Report cricketnut2 May 6, 2014 10:58 PM BST
Liverpool can definatly beat Newcastle, as they are hopeless and most of the players went on their summer holidays in March and I don't see that will change this coming Sunday. Can either Villa or West Ham get points at Man City, well not if the games were played between August and March. However the games are being played in May, when the pressure is really on. I'll be surprised if they win both games and wouldn't want to back them at the very short odds for either match. They may of course win both, but think tomorrow evenings game is tough.
