Of course it's possible. Just like Newcastle could win at Anfield. Manchester City are miles away from playing well at the moment with a few injury problems to boot.

City are 1.09 to win the league, but nobody is interested because all the big hitters are gone to bed broke.and it will be worse in the morning when they wake up with no bank.

Both villa and west ham will now be told that City have a lot of players that are going out on loan next season, and will be asked if they are interested .nudge nudge say no more,"we can talk about it after the match when your team comes to play us."

Oh ffs, just put £100 on man city to beat hull at a cracking 1.36 on partybets, only to realise after reading this thread its actually man U. I'm such a ****, £100 down the swanny and no more whiskey for me

There have been numerous times over the past few years when City have been on a roll and teams from the bottom half of the league (and plenty from the top half) have just been cannon fodder at the Etihad. This isn't one of those times. They'll probably beat Villa and West Ham but I doubt it'll be a stroll in the park.

They have as much chance of winning as we would of scoring three goals in ten minutes against Pool to salvage a point, oh wait a minute, forget that....!

MAN CITY JUST NEED AT MINIMUM 1 DRAW AND 1 WIN FROM THEIR LAST 2 GAMES TO BE CHAMPIONS
MAN CITY HAVE ONLY LOST 1 HOME GAME THIS SEASON AND THAT WAS TO CHELSEA

villa more than capable - and not because villa are any good ,having said that though the pressure is off city quite a bit now -so it shouldn't be such an ordeal

City lost at home to Wigan, almost lost at home to Sunderland and 2 years ago were about 4 minutes away from losing at home to QPR and blowing the league so of course there's a chance.
Realistically though, they've been given a lifeline over the past 10 days and aren't going to blow it.

SO BASICALLY VIILA AND WEST HAM PLAYED RUBBISH ALL SEASON HENCE NEAR THE END OF THE SEASON THEY JUST FOUGHT OFF RELEGATION, SO NOW THEY DECIDE TO UP THEIR GAME AGAINST CITY???
IF THEY PLAYED WITH SUCH COMMITMENT AND DETERMINATION THROUGHOUT THIS SEASON AS THEY ARE ABOUT TO AGAINST CITY THEN WOULDN'T THEY HAVE NOW FINISHED IN A MORE RESPECTABLE POSITION AND EVEN IN THE TOP 10 AND MAYBE WOULD HAVE EVEN HAD A GOOD RUN IN THE FA OR LEAGUE CUP AND EVEN WON IT?
ANY CLUB THAT ONLY DECIDES TO UP THEIR GAME IN THE LAST 2 GAMES OF THE SEASON SHOULD BE RELEGATED NEXT SEASON

if city go for it with a high tempo attack they will win both games by quite a few goals
having said that city are not what you call ruthless. they are the type of team who can shoot themselves in the foot. if they go out an play lethargically then anything is possible.

Villa will get beat easily but the West Ham bus capable of some resistance on a good day.
I agree with DwD above unless Man City come up with 2 stinkers

kenilworth 06 May 14 21:40 Possible but improbable, also can Liverpool beat Newcastle?
Going by their recent away form, i'd fancy 11 betfair forumites to beat Newcastle

city felt the heat when playing qpr 2 yrs back, i dont know how they bailed out of that one, they played awful that day, and are,nt in their best form right now. they should stroll both games but pressure will kick in at some point

Liverpool can definatly beat Newcastle, as they are hopeless and most of the players went on their summer holidays in March and I don't see that will change this coming Sunday. Can either Villa or West Ham get points at Man City, well not if the games were played between August and March. However the games are being played in May, when the pressure is really on. I'll be surprised if they win both games and wouldn't want to back them at the very short odds for either match. They may of course win both, but think tomorrow evenings game is tough.
