Well Betfair suspending in-play bets has me pissed... this is exactly the kind of game I'd be looking to lay-off... has royallt screwed the way I bet.

Apologies for any convenience they say... not much consolation for the £100 I have on it that I'd probably be laying off now! I'm watching it no problem either on a perfectly fine stream... Not on this. |

I'm on Millonarios to win, but the fact they are a goal up now doesn't make me feel much better.
I have a very distinct style of betting, and like to protect what I have when I bet. I bet big, and get out when I feel is best. I didn;t realise betfair would just decide to randomly stop an in-play market... lessons being learnt here! |

There we go then... 1-0 up and a few minutes to go. £100 on them to win £172. This is a textbook lay-off for me.
They go and equalise in the 88th minute, losing me not only my £100 stake, but probably another another £60 profit. Firstly, I don't get why Betfair suspend a game just because they can't get a stream of the game - this is an exchange... surely it is up to the punters whether they bet or not... Bet365 were taking bets. Secondly, I was bloody watching the game on a stream! I am complaining about this to Betfair tomorrow, as I'm not happy I couldn't protect my investment, and lock in my profit. This just completely **** up my betting strategy. I've put shedloads of money through Betfair this past month, laying off games as I go, and never experienced this before. |
