I fancy us for the win tonight, Arsenal are like no other team that Bayern face in Germany and will struggle to cope with the movement of our midfield, Lahm in the holding position in the Bundesliga might work but the class of Wilshere and Cazorla will see to that. Not even Guardiola's so called great Barca sides managed to win at the Emirates and last season's loss to Bayern was off the back of a defeat to Blackburn, as Wenger says we are in a much better mental state now.

Plus Ribery is out, 3-0 Arsenal.Happy

Wenger and the other players must be very angry with Ozil's performance , body langauge , effort etc ......£40 million pound player cannot create a good team atmosphere in this manner.

Bayern are still a vastly overrated team, they didn't impress me tonight, they simply got lucky they were allowed to dominate the midfield with an extra man, playing against out second choice left back and second choice Goalkeeper and our third choice penalty taker.

That's football, luck plays a big part.

Whoever, you make as favourites, our English League, has been shown up for what it really is over the past 2 evenings, very average. Yes 2 sendings off didn't help, but that was down to the skill of opposing players. I can't really see why you weren't impressed with Bayern, the only thing it probably lacked was the final ball on many occasions.
Report high_lander February 19, 2014 9:44 PM GMT

I don't believe in the idea of teams at the level of Arsenal and Bayern having 3rd choice pen takers, they should both have 4-5 players who can score a pen whenever required.

This red card rule needs to be changed for the gd of the game imo.
A booking for such challenges would be the right way to handle this situation imo.
Only if the challenge is deemed violent should it be red & a PK imo.
A bit of common sense in needed here for the gd of the game & just as importantly the millions that tune in to watch this GREAT GAME OF FOOTBALL. Cool
