The biggest Derby in the World returns in the best league in the world. And both teams come into this game fighting for the Championship so a lot is on the line. The ban on away fans still holds in Argentina so there will be no Boca fans in the stadium so that must be an advantage to River. Three wins in their last four games for River and only one goal conceded. They have no players missing. Boca have won their last two and haven't conceded a goal in their last three which is quite something considering their massive defensive problems all year long. Of course with Gago and Riquelme in your team anything is possible. Rodriguez, Ledesma and Aguirre look as if they will be missing for Boca. Both teams really need to win to keep their championship hopes going and although a draw wouldn't be a disaster for either, I think they will go for the win. You have to wonder if Boca are holding some sort of jinx over River. In the last two league Superclasicos River opened the score after a minute and still failed to win. Last season they were 2-0 at home and ended up drawing 2-2. But River have been strong at home while Boca have been fairly insipid. I quite fancy River tonight. But I'm going to back over two goals for several reasons. The last 0-0 draw between these two in the league was in 2005. In the 13 games since then 10 of them had at least two goals. In the three friendlies they played in the summer two of them had at least two goals. With Riquelme in the line up Boca will always be dangerous. Plus, until recently, they have been awful defensively. I fancy River but I'm backing at least two goals tonight.
