If you were the United owners what would your job spec be?

- Must have CL experience and preferably at getting through to the last couple of stages
- Must be able to negotiate with and bring big name players to the club
- Must have a record of domestic success
- Must have a record of identifying and developing talent
- Must win big games/have a big game temperament
- Must be able to deal with big egos inside and outside the club and be able to drop players to the stands or bench and then bring them back and get them playing like their life depends on it and not have them go sulking to the Sun
- Must be media friendly/savvy

Not sure how many of those boxes can be ticked by Moyes.

I'm laying Moyes heavily. Literally everything I believe tells me he has absolutely nil chance.

Its win win as well.. It will be worth the loss if he actually is appointed.

Van Gaal would be my choice. He was set to take over during Fergies previous "Retirement"

Every club he has gone to has been a success and he has the mentality to cope with a job like Utd.

I'm convinced it will be moyes, purely because there was some decent money backing him in this market 2-3 days ago. I don't think anyone would look to do that, days before Fergie's announcement unless they had some kind of inside info

think moyes is alot more likely then mourinho especially with the scottish link & the fact that fergie is going upstairs.

why would jose announce hes leaving and going to england and behaves himself wen madrid beat them at old trafford. Then fergus resingns and hire moyes Cry. No chance just had 20 on jose at 6/4
