I had a good bet on Ivory Coast (with Betfair). Can anyone tell me how this stands, I assume Betfair will hide behind their "90 minutes must be played" rule. If this is the case I will be truly gutted and no doubt Betfair will hang on to my stake for 72+hours where no doubt they will get the interest in the 24 hour money market!!!

Your bet will definitely be voided.
Unsure as to when you'll get your stake back, it's either after 3 days or sooner if an announcement is made regarding the result. Game definitely won't be replayed though. |

I feared as much Biscuit 1979. I understand that the A.N.F. will award the match to the Ivory Coast but worse, I have been informed that "certain" bookmakers will pay out to backers of the Ivory Coast....glad to hear that some organisations have some morals which in todays world are sadly lacking. Anyway after a hit like this I must learn the hard lesson....do not back football with Betfair, it can seriously damage your health

It should be voided. Remember BF have to be fair to the layers, which of course doesn't apply to the bookies.
