From a outsider looking in and a gunner loving it, these are the reason the wheels have fallen off at White Hart Lane and the signs were there in the first half of the season where you managed to beat Arsenal at White hart Lane yet sholdnt have and Chelsea at home in which you looked tired even back in December and here is why.

1 - SQUAD ROTATION

Harry has stuck with the same line up week in week out for most of the season, I dont think any player has had as much game time as Luka Modric and Gareth Bale and had to do so much running, the spurs trainning regime isnt the most fitness based, harry would be quite happy to go for a drink with the players after trainning then get the players running drills in training and increasing the time, he is a mana manager not a fittness guru.

2 - NO YOUTH TEAM

Most of the spurs youngsters are shipped out each season to gain first team experience, yet when things are thin on the ground at home, not one is recalled meaning the first team suffers due to unbalanced lineups. Silly policy isnt it

3 - TIREDNESS

Caused by lack of team rotation, squad depth and tactics. Harry will continue to say "we play great football, if you dont enjoy the way we play then you shouldnt watch football" this statement is true for the first 3rd of the season, but if you havent got the squad or the rotation in players your players will shot their bolt, no surprise to see Mata pick them off yesterday with the freedom of the middle of the park to play from, the defence had no chance!! Too open for so long and not enough change, its no wonder Arsenal and chelse both scored 5 pass them and majority coming in the 2nd hald and United score 3 with only 30% of the ball at White hart Lane.

4- Unity

There isnt any, too many players try to do it themselves now because once the mind isnt there through tiredness you try to do it yourself and end up running into blind allies, plus Redknapp is to blame with his courting of thr england job, saying its your dream job would hack anyone off who has stayed put due to the manager talk of achieveing something with spurs for example see Modric.

So basically Spurs have had this coming for quite sometime and the blame is with the spurs board and manager, Harry tactics and unbalanced side has led to people thinking spurs are a poor side, they arent, they have some brilliant players, its just that the squad has been depleated by a man who thinks his players are machines, its like a game of champ manager for Harry. Today's league is won by the team who makes the most of his squad and Alex Fergueson has done that, Harry has sold more players because they wasnt given a chance, they have more players on load then anyone else and they play the most open type of football, I am pretty certain they have conceeded twice as many goals since december in the 2nd half then the first and almost certain more goals in the last 10 minutes then any other team in the top seven in the lge.

The season couldnt come soon enough for Spurs, but then again wasnt this the same last year. Harry Redknapp is a good manager as long as he doesnt get the chance to play then players week in week out so therefore he is actually ideal for England, even though come the summer all the english players are knackered from juggling their playboy lifestyle with a hard premiership season so they wont progress further then the QF anyway.

Best of luck Spuddies on breaking the top 4 next year, you may learn at the 3rd attempt, however if harry is still there, I doubt it

they'll certainly need to invest a lot in the squad next year with CL football as an additional load

Some of what you say has merit but oh to be having such 'problems' as fourth place in the PL.

Wow, that's a long post from a non supporter.

Is it any good? I stopped reading after the incorrect first paragraph.

Short memory!

I do find it amusing all these people being wise after the event.  If you could drag up a post from February forecasting Spurs' collapse for the above reasons then I would find that more impressive.

I hate to think how long a post the op might make about Arsenal's shortcomings.

The defence is weak.  One is supposed to be one of the fastest defenders around but that's no good when the brain is  a second slow.  Another had dodgy knees and might play.  Another is too old.  And so on.
