Was hoping De Zwaan would get an easier start . Still in the better half of the draw IF he can shock Cross
underson and MVG in the same half of the draw, dream final ruined

Only a couple of times mate, tended to be in the corner opposite by the away fans or behind the goal if the stand was split in two...
Ah ok mate, thought we may have known the same people. Remember Dick who used to do the book at Layer Road, the one banned from the BHA from all their racecourses?
I'm originally from South Essex BB, moved up Colchester way late 80's... had been to Layer Road a couple of times but never really got the vibe... went to Wycombe away in 92 with a couple of mates when Scott Barrett sent a drop kick into the Wycombe net in the last minute to seal a 2-1 win... sort of got more into it after that... there's a lot of faces I recognise over the years but couldn't put names to them... saying that got chatting to a matey on the way to Hartlepool on the train for the opening game a few years back.... went by the name of Fletch... seemed well connected with a lot of the Barside crowd from the stories he was telling...
