if it was a close contest, say 3-2 to Gurney, I could understand Gary not being happy if Gurney was slow retrieving his darts or something. but he got hammered 3-0. he should have shaken hands and not reacted like that imo

tbh Cooper, tonight aside, I don't think Gary likes Daryl Gurney very much. Daryl is very full of himself/confident, and he seems to get the better of Gary on the oche more often that you'd expect. I think Gary fancied doing a job on him tonight, and then to get hammered 3-0 in that fashion was too much for Gary to take and he threw his toys out of the pram. n88uk, did you watch the match and see Gary's reaction at the end?

couldn't hit his double start in the first 2 sets, and Gurney played well and was super clinical hitting his finishing doubles

No I've read a bit what you said and Twitter searching now. Not seen hardly any of Grand Prix, it's just always clashed with something else.

Gary ramped up his level in the 3rd set, averaging around 100, but still Gurney managed to find a way to win it and Gary wasn't happy at all

the biggest sucker punch in the 3rd set was at 1-1, and Gary missed darts for the leg, then Gurney hits single 20, bull, D16 to check out 102. the timing was brutal on Gary who looked nailed on to win that leg

n88uk at GSM, Gary briefly shook hands with Gurney, then started having a go, did a gesture at his own ear, basically saying Gurney was making noise behind him when he was about to throw. Gary stormed off stage without shaking hands with any of the referees. Gurney told him to piss off and did a gesture as if to say "I'll speak to you outside in a minute" when Gary was on his way offstage still giving Gurney abuse

Basically Anderson was terrible at doubling in, Gurney played with superb efficiency, was at 100% on his finishing doubles at one stage. Anderson tried to rally in the 3rd set, looked like he would probably win it at one stage, but Gurney hit him with the sucker punch 102 checkout of 20, BULL, D16 to go 2-1 up in the 3rd, and then closed it out. Gurney was in full arrogant bastard mode for the whole match. You know how he is when he's winning, playing well, hitting his doubles first time.

n88uk and Grant, you two are turning into a parody with this Cross/MVG thing.

It will never be 5/6 the pair when MvG still goes off like evens every major despite barely winning them. Though looks good for him this week, what a surprise, shorter format major and MvG looks like winning again.
