I'm going to bet Kim for 4-2 and 4-3.

Mr Kim definitely has a better chance than the odds suggest, he can also help himself by getting in to Phil's head early doors with an over the top fist pump when he gets his first big score/checkout .....

getting in to Phil's head early doors

Angoose, no offence, but seriously?! Taylor will stutter the play at the first sign of any trouble, causing Kim to lose his rhythm IMHO...

Possibly over 4 legs Kim would have a chance, but over the long format, think he stands one chance ie NO CHANCE

Spock, how do you feel Taylor will get on against van Barneveld?
Report Spock December 29, 2016 5:41 PM GMT
wisewords, reckon it will be an absolute slugfest...if Taylor recaptures the 100 average, me tinks he'll just about squeak it, but anything less, with RVB looking really good, won't be enough

what do you think?
Report wisewords December 29, 2016 5:50 PM GMT
I want van Barneveld to produce the form he's been showing the last 6 months, averaging 102-104 and clinically hitting his doubles, especially D16, D8 & D18. However, he didn't do that against Adrian Lewis despite beating him. I'm going to stick with him though. The rest day should help him. He did have to play 2 games in 2 days so that might have caused the dip in performance yesterday. So I tip him to squeeze past Taylor with a 102 average, with a possible scoreline being 5-3.

If the Taylor who played Painter turns up, he is there for the taking.

Phil's there for the taking. at 1/3 and 3/1, Kim has got to be the better bet?

3-10 Taylor 5-2 Huybrechts  365

They were 1/4 and 3/1 this afternoon with them.

The best man won. Winning two sets flattered Kim, he never looked like the winner all night.
Report Angoose December 29, 2016 9:59 PM GMT
Phil was too good, was as good as ever for the first three and a bit sets.
Fair play, didn't think that he would be able to produce that.
