Anyone watching this year? Would be great to see HH back again with his brilliant analysis and previews, but think he gave up last year.
Hard to see anything other than a MvG procession, but must be some value in the opening rounds. For starters, I fancy Jabba Caven to exorcise his world champs first round demons, and ease past a downward spiralling Kevin Painter. |

I sign in only once a year on here - for this forum and tournament only. Hope the old faces are still about :)

Evening friends. Hes hoping for good world champs.
This of course just Hors d'oeurve before the real one starts at the Lakeside. |

Good luck everyone. Let's hope that a few of the old hands make an appearance here over the next few weeks.
When we think back to so many great Xmas occasions and threads in the past, it's so sad that the Forum now appears to beyond recovery. I was trying to think back to the last absolutely momentous meltdown night for this Forum, and rightly or wrongly, I had to go back a few YEARS to this unforgettable occasion. Characters in game not quite same as before.
Everything seems so much more professional nowadays, not sure we get the same amount of funny moments as result. |

Kevin Painter
Jamie Lewis Gary Anderson Michael Smith |

Caven was awful last time I saw him (in the Grand Slam of Darts), but Painter is getting on - no idea how he's playing these days. That strikes me as the one that could go either way?
Lewis, Ando 3-0 and Smith is 9/4. |
By:
It's only my opinion, but I really don't rate Caven. I find him to be gutless. I think Lewis/McGowan is the one that could go either way. McGowan won't be afraid to win if he gets on top of Lewis and marches into a lead

King John looks like hes been down the gym. Lost a few pounds.

An MVG v Anderson final would be perfect this year.

4/5 on Painter most 180s seems massive

Evening gents. Looking forward to festive arrer thrills.
Think McGowan will win. Painter is no great shakes but Caven is useless in front of the cameras. Could be a tight match so like the over 121.5 c/o @ 5/6 with B653. I think part of the problem is wisewords, bobwenit and that other fella just dominate the thread and post childish babble non stop about tennis, horseshoe throwing from Arizona and other such shyte. I politely ask they create their own evening threads if they want to do that and not ruin main threads which is to discuss the evenings darts! |
By:
Painter's odds seem bad to me.
|
By:
I hope it will Wisewords. The final we should have had last year! Fingers crossed..
|
By:
I was expecting to see some form looking at his results, but can't.
|
By:
Also rapid Ricky Evans could be a touch of value at over 2/1 as Smith has not kicked on and Ricky has played v well on the big stage before.
GL all! |

Caven can't play any worse than he did last time on tv
|
By:
Evening all. What better way to 'kick off' this years champs than with the King of the motorway! C'mon Muttley.
No mention of Wolfie on the most World titles?! |
By:
...that was rock bottom
|
By:
He pushed Chisnall very close in the ITV tournament less than a month ago, n88uk.
|
By:
Very few wins as far as I could see though, even on the floor.
|
By:
I think it's a 50:50 mugfest anyway which means value is with Caven.
|
By:
caven falls to bits in front of the camera got to go with painter
|
By:
and please, you've got some gall attacking me. I'm present for pretty much every tournament and give my opinion and predictions if asked. I haven't seen you "charwell" for pretty much the whole year.
